Love Sick (Baekyeon Fanfic)

Starlight

Taeyeon went to the library to check out more books.
What she didn't know is someone on the other side of the shelf grabbed the same book.
Taeyeon let go to see who it was that wanted the same book.
It was a boy wearing white headphones, with a cold expression.
But his eyes gives off a calm feeling.
Taeyeon blinked twice and came back to reality.

"You can have it if you want." He puts the book back on the shelf for her to grab.
She was a bit hesitant to take it.
By the time she grabs the book from the shelf, he was gone.
She must've imagined him.

There is a music store next door that Taeyeon decided to visit.
A lot of people were there, but that didn't bother her because the only instrument she sees is the piano.
It's a white grand piano that she dreamed of having for herself.
When she looked at the price, her mouth opened a little.
"So expensive."

She was about to try it out but someone else already went by it and played some notes.
Taeyeon checked his side profile and somehow she can recognize him.
She looks at the book in her hand that she checked out from the library earlier.
The one that someone else wanted.
Which never happens to her because the books she reads is not a popular genre.

Taeyeon walked to the piano and listened to the music that the person was playing.
He stopped and once he saw her, he put his headphones back on.
Then he looked at the book that she's holding and he smiled.

"Starlight, that's the book that I wanted."
He said to her and pointed at the book.
Taeyeon nodded, at least she didn't imagine him earlier.
"You're good at playing the piano."
She complimented him and he took his headphones off.

"I know."
Then he began to play a classical song.
Taeyeon sighed and remembered Baekhyun showing off his piano skills that one time when they were at school.
She was so jealous, but now she's in love with him.

The guy saw her sad expression and asked her if she's ok.
Taeyeon came back to reality and nodded.
"You can play it now if you want."
He stepped away from the piano for Taeyeon to play it.
She played her favorite song, "Secret"
Without even knowing she dropped a few tears while she was playing.
The guy took out his handkerchief and wiped the tears off of her face.

Taeyeon needed a hug at that moment.
Suddenly she hugs him without even asking him.
He pats her back awkwardly and felt weirded out.
Other customers in the music store was teasing them and calling them a cute couple.

What they both didn't know is that someone in the store was watching them from afar.
"I'm sorry. I don't even know you, but I just needed a hug."
Taeyeon wiped away her tears and bowed to him.
The guy just smiled and thought,
"She's really cute."

The guy shook his head and took the book that was placed on top of the piano.
"Can I borrow this in return then?"
He showed her the book "Starlight" and Taeyeon nodded immediately.
"What's your name?" He asked her.

"Taeyeon."
She said with a smile.
"I'm Dean."

It's a pretty short chapter, that's why I uploaded it on the same day. But yup, Dean will be in this story from now on. He's actually really cute...
