Heartbroken (2)- The Fight

You sat in the small cafe, your two closest girl friends sat across from you. You were all laughing and having fun. Jo looked at you and then sighed, "How are things with Dean?" She asked, they knew how you felt about him, and they knew that sometimes when Dean was out, having one of his hook ups, you would cry yourself to sleep.

"I... it's tough." You whispered and then sighed looking at your coffee cup. "I just want to tell him how I feel... but what if he doesn't like me like that. Then I would have risked our friendship for nothing." You finished in a whisper. The two girls looked at you, their faces were sad.

"You deserve to be happy..." Charlie said, she looked at you, she tilted her head a bit.

"Charlie is right." Jo said and the two girls began brainstorming ways for you to get with Dean. You listened, giggling a bit at a few ideas.

You glanced away from your table after an hour and you sucked in a sharp breath. Dean was here, but he was with someone else. You felt your heart breaking when you realized that is was Lisa- his ex-girlfriend. Jo looked to see where you were looking and she frowned.

"That bitch," she growled, she hated Lisa she never told you why but it was just one of times when you just hate a person for no reason.

"Of course he goes back to her." Charlie said.

"They have been off and on for years." You murmured, looking down at your hands that were folded in your lap.

Dean and Lisa walked to a table, not far from yours. Dean noticed you and he could have sworn he saw hurt flash through your eyes. He looked at Lisa, giving her a smile. "It's good to see you again, Dean." She told him.

"Same goes for you," He said, Dean looked at the menu. Lisa did the same.

You tried not to watch, but you did, and they would laugh and look like they were in love again. After about thirty minutes, you grabbed your bag, paid for your stuff and then raced out. Jo and Charlie following right behind you, trying to catch up to you.

You walked to the bridge on the nature trail you used to walk on all the time. The other girls followed, but they let you have some space. You watched the water rush under the wooden structure. "I can't do this- I can't keep letting my heart get broken." You whispered, Jo and Charlie wrapped their arms around your shoulders and then let you cry it all out.

A month went by, and you were hiding the fact you were heartbroken, you spent most nights laying in your bed, hardly sleeping. When you got out out bed in the morning you were shocked. There were boxes backed in the living room.

Dean was taping one up. "Oh- (Y/n)..." He said said as he stood up.

"Why are you packing?" You asked. He took a deep breath.

"I'm moving in with Lisa." He said, he didn't look at you.

"What? Why?" You asked, your voice trembling as you walked closer to him.

Dean said nothing as he turned his back to you, it was better this way. He thought that maybe if he made you mad- or even made you hate him he could move on. "I want to, what more of a reason do I need?" He asked, putting as much harshness as he could muster.

Your eyes widened as you looked as his back. "Dean..." You whispered, you reached up to touch his shoulder. He shoved you back, rather roughly.

"Don't your part of the reason." He snapped. "Ever since you saw Lisa and me in that cafe, you have been acting different. You refuse to be near me." He said, he balled his fists at his sides. He was more mad at himself, but he made it seem like he was angry at you.
