You were there when it all happened, you watched as Dean stabbed Dick Roman. You were there when he exploded. You were there when Dean and Dick disappeared. You remember Sam dragging you out, you didn't want to leave. You had to find him, you had to, you guys were family.
That night, after Dean disappeared, you and Sam had gotten into a huge fight.
"I don't care, Sam! He's my- our brother." You yelled at him, he looked at you.
"We don't even know where to look for him!" You glared at your younger brother. Sam may have been right, but he was acting like he didn't want to even search for him.
You said nothing, anger flashing through your eyes. He sighed and then ran a hand down his face. "(Y/n)" he said in a tired voice.
Instead of answering him, you walked towards the Impala. You sat in the passenger seat and leaned your head against the window. We'll- well I will find you. I promise. Sam climbed in and he started up the car, and then drove off.
A few hours passed before Sam pulled into the nearest motel. He grabbed his bag, and then handed yours to you. You hadn't said a word to him for the whole ride. "(Y/n), are you hungry?" He asked, You ignored him as you walked to the office, you handed the lady your credit card. "One room or two?" She asked,
"One," You answered, she nodded.
"Well, enjoy your stay." She smiled sweetly, you nodded as you took the room key.
"Thank you." You said, then walked towards the room. Sam followed behind you, as the two of you went inside. You went straight to the bathroom, to clean up. Sam sat down on the bed. He took a shaky breath before he called to you.
"I'm going to get some food." He grabbed the keys and then left the room.
You had showered and gotten dressed, and you were sitting on your bed. Sam walked in with a bag from a fast food place. "I got your favorite." He said as he set the bag on the table. You still said nothing, which caused Sam to groan in anger. "You serious? You can't say a damn word to me?" He said, he was trying not to yell, but his voice was hard and cold.
"I can't do this (Y/n)." You looked up at him. He looked at you and then sighed, "Here's some cash and you have your card... see you around." He said. You jumped off the bed, your eyes wide as Sam packed up his stuff.
"You're leaving me?" You gaped at him. He nodded, and that made you mad as hell. "Go have that 'normal' life you dreamed of- just go Sam!" You growled.
"Goodbye, sister." He said and left.

It had been almost a year since you had lost Dean, almost a year since Sam left you. You moved to a town in Upstate New York, found yourself a job as in a local grocery store, heck you even got your own apartment. You had a small group of friends, ones that didn't bug you about where you came from, and you started seeing someone.
You were at work when you missed the phone call. You didn't even bother to call the person back after you clocked out. It was an unknown number, and frankly, if it was a hunter you didn't give two shits. You wanted nothing to do with hunting, not seeing you felt as if you lost your two brothers. Sure, Sam was alive, but Dean... you began to think he was dead. You gave up trying to find him a month ago.
It hurt knowing you weren't going to see him again, it ripped you apart. You ad nightmares, ones that Dean knew about. He was the one to help you through them. He was the one that you trusted to tell about Hell, about the ones caused by the demonic and angelic tortures. He was basically your rock- the one family member that was always there for you.
Three days after missing that phone call, you were sitting on your couch watching a movie on the television. Your phone rang from the kitchen, you stood and walked to it. I was that number again. You answered, "Hello?"
"(Y/n)," there was a breathless sigh, and then a pause. "It's good to hear your voice." You bit your lip, it sounded so much like Dean, but it could be a shifter or a trick by a demon or an angel trying to mess with you. "It's me, Dean." the man said.
"My brother is gone. Has been for almost a year." You said, your voice was hard.
"(Y/n), when you were six years old you got scared from a Halloween mask and you refused to leave my side for almost three weeks." That was something only Dean and you knew about.
"Dean?" You asked, your voice was shaking.
"It's me." He said, "Where are you?" He asked you, you bit back the tears- mainly from happiness.
"I'm in Peru, New York." You said, "I missed you so much."
"I know, me too, kiddo." He said. "I'll be there by tomorrow night." He said.
"Okay, see you then." You said and hung up. You were happy that Dean was back, you couldn't wait to see him.
