What if the person you were falling for was a total mystery?
While Lily is spacing out in Chemistry one day, she picks up her pencil and scribbles a line from one of her favorite songs on the desk. The next day, someone else has written back to her on the desk! Soon enough Lily and the mystery student are exchanging notes, and lyrics, and even sharing secrets. When Lily finds out that her anonymous pen pal is a guy, she's flustered -- and kind of feels like she's falling for him. She and her best friend set out to unravel the identity of the letter writer -- but when the truth is revealed, the guy is the LAST person Lily could have ever imagined it to be. Now that Lily knows the truth, can she untangle her feelings and gather the courage to listen to her heart?
From beloved author Kasie West (The Distance Between Us) comes an utterly charming story about mixed messages, missed connections, and the magic of good old-fashioned secret admirer notes.

Review:
P.S. I Like You is a hilariously romantic novel that leave you feeling light and happy from beginning to end. Let's take a moment to appreciate how freakin' cute this cover looks! It's so freakin' adorable!
Lily, an aspiring songwriter with a unique and endearing family, spaces out in Chemistry once day and decides to pick up her pencil and scribble a line from one of her favourite songs on her desk. The next day, she notices a note on her desk from another student who shares the same taste in music. As school drags on, both Lily and her mysterious penpal have been getting closer and closer.
The first half of the story is Lily trying to find out her penpal's identity. The other half of the story is Lily trying to get to know and restore a relationship with the guy in real life with the the version of him Lily has come to know and like.
The plot, characters, emotions, pacing, and everything else you can name, were absolutely flawless. The characters were flawed and generally believable, the secondary characters were so fun and creative, and the relationships portrayed in the novel (friendships, romantic interests, family, etc.) were all so realistic and an overall delight to read.
The relationship buildup between Lily and her mystery guy was so well thought-out and executed. It's a love-hate relationship that doesn't feel forced or overpowering. They slowly start to get to know one another and begin to fall in love, letting the anger and hurt they felt in the past behind and beginning something both new and exciting.
I definitely recommend that you pick this novel up if you like adorable, light, fun, and general feel-good books.
