🔹QUESTION
I read somewhere that it is not Sunnah to break ones fast with dates, is this true?
If not what is the Sunnah?
🔷This is absolutely wrong.
💠Upon the authority of Anas ibn Maalik who said:
❝The Messenger of Allah salalllahu alaihi wasallam used to break his fast upon fresh soft dates before praying, and if not fresh soft dates then dry dates, and if not then he would take some mouthfuls of water.❞
