DEJA P.O.V.

"He bugging, he want to bring his daughter here." I told Monae who had been my new best friend/ favorite cousin.
After that whole Cali thing me and Lizzy was on and off. I would never let my child stop going to her house over what her dad say. I would've approached her and then kept sending her after she told me what happened. Other than that all that making up excuses as of why she can't come wouldn't happen. So I just go see Cali instead of picking her up.
"Deja you do know you're the love of his life right? He wants to make sure y'all good before getting serious with you again. He's scared you won't accept his kid." She defended Durk of course. "I won't do that to him. He scared ima run off back to Jason. He always say I really hope you over that nigga. I be like Durk if you don't think I am stop fucking with me because no funny shit we are not teenagers no more so all that breaking up and going back out stuff is not happening. Then he be wanting to be sweet and shit like no nigga." We laughed. "You play too much but I want y'all to last but if his friends still able to be disrespectful dub him Dej." She said. "Duhh that was our problem before and I'm dead ass not a kid no more. So all that sticking it out is a dub." I said cleaning the house. "Right." She said. "Ima call you back." I told her before we hung up. I continued cleaning up.

Three Hours Later

It was a couple of kids here. I wasn't going to get Cali but I did because I missed her. She was sweating me too. I had a couple of my cousins here too. Durk was on his way with his kids. I really didn't want to see them because all that's going to do is push me away from him. Ima go through a lot dealing with him again and his two kids. One was bad enough, now two? That's too much. But I guess I'll give it a try. Monae came in the house and she had a couple of toys and stuff for them to play. "You look worried. What's the matter?" She asked and I gave her that you know what's wrong look. She chuckled. "Deja go in the room so we can talk." Monae said. I grabbed my phone and checked it Jason texted me.

Worst Mistake: How's life? I see you throwing a sleepover for your family & shit. I hope you having a good life. I didn't mean to hurt you but you ruined the relationship. Especially fucking with that low life

Me: Jason if you're so happy why do you write me everyday? I'm about to block your silly ass number.

He didn't write back. Here come Monae. "Alright now tell me why you scared." She said sitting next to me. "The stress. The baby momma drama, my family, his family and outsiders. Its just every little thing." I leaned back and covered my face. "You only going to stress yourself out. I promise you that. No one else cares Deja." She said. "About what?" Durk came in the room holding his daughter in the harness and holding Angel hand. He such a big boy. "Hey Durk." I smiled as my heart was beating mad fast. "What's wrong you look worried?" He asked. I shook my head. "Daddy who's that?" Angelo asked. "That's daddy girlfriend Deja. Say hi." Durk said. "Hi. Daddy she pretty." He waved to me and tried to whisper to his father. Me and Monae laughed. "Thank you." I went over to him and hugged him. He was my handsome at one point. And it haven't changed. He still so cute. "You got so big." I rubbed his head and he just smiled. "Come let me take your clothes off and you put on your pajamas." Durk said. "I have to use the bathroom." He said. "Alright and change your clothes out there." Durk passed it to him. He went to the bathroom. "I feel so old Angelo got so big." I said. "Can I see the baby?" Monae asked. "She sleeping but yeah. Unclip the straps." Durk said. She hurried up and did it. He passed her the baby. "Oh my goodness God bless her." Monae took her out the room.
