Liddan is missing his right arm, as you may know.
However, when it was torn off, part of his flesh was ripped.
To be specific, half of the skin holding his Fairy Tail mark was torn off. This left a jagged line breaking between the symbol and his restored skin below his arm.
Because of this, his false arm has the mark painted on.
The thing is, he could be restored the mark, but he never did.
