Learning to Love [Miraculous Ladybug- Adrienette]

Chapter 13: Beach Day

Adrien, Marinette, Alya, and Nino were all in school. After school they planned on going to the beach. Adrien was excited to spend the day with his girlfriend especially after all the bad things that have happened to her lately.

The bell rang. They all walked to the front of the school. Marinette and Adrien were holding hands. Alya was next to Marinette and Nino was next to Adrien.

"I cant wait!" Alya said jumpily. Everyone giggled. "What? I love the beach." Alya said crossing her arms. Everyone was laughing they were ready to have a good time.

The gorilla picked them up and they headed to the beach. They all went in the bathroom to get ready and came back out. Alya was wearing a blue one piece with a criss cross design in the back. Marinette was wearing a red polka doted bikini with a big sunhat. Adrien was wearing green bottoms and Nino was wearing black bottoms.

They walked to the ocean and set up three chairs a towel and an umbrella. Since there was only three chairs Marinette sat in Adriens lap.

"I'm so happy to get away from school." Nino said.

"Yesss."
"Umhmm."
"You know it."
They all replied. They began to laugh. Everything was great.

"Do you want to go on a little walk, Mari?" Adrien said.

"Sure." They walked away from Nino and Alya.
Marinette accidentally forgot her hat but a little sun wouldn't hurt. They walked hand in hand along the water.

"So how was your day?" Adrien asked Marinette putting his hand around her waist.

"Well I aced the science test and My grade went up a whole letter." Marinette said proudly.

"Thats great, Mari. I got a 88." He said. "My dad wouldn't be happy with a B." He said sadly.

"You'll do better next time." She said looking up at him. He still looked sad. Marinette got out of his grasp and kicked some water at him. She began to giggle.

"Oh it's on." Adrien said in a playful manor. They started kicking each other water guarding their faces so water wouldn't splash in their eyes.

All the sudden Marinette stopped kicking water and Adrien heard giggling. He looked up to see Chloe with a bucket in her hand and Marinette completely soaked.

"Ugh!" Marinette said moving her hair out of the way to look at Chloe. "Why are you so mean?" Marinette said getting in Chloes face. "Do you think you have the right to pick on people because your daddy is the mayor." Marinette said mocking her voice when she said daddy.

"I only pick on you. Everyone else adores me. I'm perfect." Chloe said fixing her hair.

"You really think that? Not even ladybug likes you and she is the savior of Paris." Marinette said sassily. Adrien smiled a little because he knew Ladybug didn't like Chloe because Marinette was Ladybug. He stayed back from their argument because Marinette was independent enough to finish this with Chloe.

"Ladybug loves me! Im her biggest fan. And you well she probably doesn't even know you. Who would your such a loser." Chloe said laughing. She was laughing so much she closed her eyes giving Marinette just enough time to grab sandy mud and plop it on her head.

"Who's so perfect now." Marinette said. She let her anger control her and it immediately made her feel bad. She showed no sign of weakness though.

"Ewww! Adrikins tell her to stop." Chloe said blinking her eyes trying to be cute.

Adrien walked over to Marinette and looked at her then at Chloe. "Come on, Adrikins she shouldn't treat me like this." She said.

Marinette was ready to be yelled at by Adrien, but instead he kissed her. He could feel her smile while they were kissing.

"OMG! Adrikins how could you do this to me!" Chloe said.

"Chloe where have you been? We've been dating for almost 2 months now." Adrien said putting his arm around Marinette's waist.

"Whatever! I can find someone better then what you'll ever be!" She said strutting away.

"That was brave of you, Mari." Adrien said walking with her.

"I shouldn't have stooped to her level." Marinette said sadly.

"Hey, she deserved it and you know that." Adrien said as they got closer to their stuff.

Marinette and Adrien walked back to where their stuff was and saw Alya and Nino hitting it off. How cool would it be to go on double dates with our best friends, Adrien thought.

"Girl what happened?" Alya said quickly noticing Marinette soaked. She grabbed a towel and started drying off.

"Chloe." Marinette said. Adrien sat in a chair and started talking to Nino. He gave Marinette a look which meant to go away with Alya for a little while.

"Hey Alya. Want to go sit at the waves? I'm already wet." Marinette said jokingly.

"Sure." Alya said as they walked to the water.

"You like her dude don't you?" Adrien asked Nino.

"What who?" Nino said blushing.

"Alya. You guys would be a cute couple." Adrien said looking at his best friend.

"I'm kind of scared to ask her out. I've liked her sense we got trapped in that cage together." Nino said.

"Dude if you still like her after all that time you definitely need to ask her out." Adrien said.

"Your right." Nino said as he walked to the girls. Marinette came running back while Nino and Alya walked along the beach. She sat down and they watched as Alya screamed yes and hugged Nino.

"I hope things work out for them like they work out for us." Marinette said looking at Adrien.

"Me too." Adrien said kissing his girlfriend.

They spent the rest of the day chilling by the ocean.
