Learning to Love [Miraculous Ladybug- Adrienette]

Chapter 9: Look Out

It was a Saturday and Adrien had a lazy day. He got a good morning text from Marinette. They talked for a while, but other than that nothing happened. Every Saturday he and Ladybug would lookout over the city of Paris. They would usually sit on top of a roof where they couldn't be seen.

"Plagg! Claws out!" Adrien said to Plagg after he finished his cheese. He jumped out his window and went to the roof he usually met ladybug. Ladybug wasn't there yet so he sat down to wait for her. He hummed love songs because Marinette was all he could think about.

Chat saw Ladybugs yoyo cling onto a chimney. Quickly after she was sitting next to him. Chat was so mesmerized by the thought of Marinette that he didn't even bother to say hi. He just kept humming.

"Well you are awfully happy today, Chat." Marinette said. She looked at Chat Noir, who was in a daze. "Hellooo?" She said waving her hand in his face.

"Oh sorry, My Lady. I was just thinking." He said smiling.

"About what?" She said curiously. Looking at him all excited.

"I'm sorry to inform you that I'm taken. So you don't have a chance with this purr-fect guy anymore." He said flexing.

Marinette giggled. "Is it perhaps, the one you were talking about the other day?" She said questioning him.

"In fact it is, My Lady. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have asked her on a date." He said thankfully.

"Well. I'm recently taken as well so you don't have a chance with this lovely Lady." She said jokingly at Chat.

"What ever would I do without you?" Chat said acting sarcastically dramatic putting the back of his hand over his forehead.

"Oh I don't know. You might just... die without my beauty." Ladybug said putting her hand over her heart. They giggled. "You know Chat, I'm glad you moved on." She said putting her hand on his shoulder.

"Me, too. No offense to you, of course, my Lady." He said sorrily.

"None taken, Chat." Ladybug giggled.

"And if this guy ever treats you bad, I'll be there to knock him meow-t!" Chat said putting his fist in the air.

"Thank you, Chat." Ladybug said giggling.

"So what's so great about your new lover?" Chat said curiously.

"Well he is very kind, smart, and thoughtful. He cares about me and likes everything that I don't like about myself." Marinette said blushing. "And you?" She asked.

"She is great. She is nice and she puts other peoples feelings above hers. She has beautiful blue eyes that make me melt." He said looking at the stars thinking of how lucky he was to have Marinette. Obviously not thinking about the fact that Ladybug and her had the same eyes.

"It seems we both got lucky on the dating chart." Ladybug said looking at the stars with Chat.

"I wonder if we know each other in real life. If we have seen each other, or Ive seen you with your boyfriend or you've seen me with my girlfriend." Chat said thinking if who Ladybug might be.

"Yeah, but our identities must be kept secret." She said seriously. Adrien knew this, but he still wanted to know. They sat there for a while looking at the stars. Adrien's miraculous beeped.

"Well I guess that means you have to go." Ladybug said standing up. Chat stood up quickly after her.

Chat hugged her right before she was about to leave. "Thank you for everything." He said hugging her.

Ladybug hugged him back. "Anytime, Chat." They let go and Ladybug swung off into the distance. He went back to his house, de-transformed, and looked out the window. Looking at the stars. He knew what he was going to do for their next date.

"Don't mean to ruin the moment, but I'm hungry." Plagg said getting in front of Adrien.

"Plagg if you don't cut down on the cheese, you will become it!" Adrien said jokingly.

"That would be amazing! I could eat myself! Its like a snack on the go for all the time." He said dreaming of him being a block of cheese. Adrien laughed at Plagg. He went and laid in his bed. He grabbed his phone to text Marinette.

Adrien really did like his new nickname. Whenever Marinette called him that he would blush. He didn't know how this relationship would end, but he knew that at this moment, it was everything he ever wanted.
