A/n Trying something new here! Sorry this update took so long!         Play song when the next a/n come up!

I hummed to myself as I walked around the castle of Camelot following my usual daily routine, except I usually  have a shadow in the from of an annoyingly attractive knight which for some unknown reason today Gwaine was not following me. Without him by my side I felt as if half of my soul was missing, it wasn't helping that I had no clue where he was.

As I rounded a corner I spotted Percival walking away from me, and I run to catch up to him.

"Percival!" I called and he stopped before slowly turning around placing his hands behind his back.

"Why hello Y/n." He grinned at me raising his eyebrows and I smiled softly in confusion at his rather odd behaviour.

"hi," I chuckled brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. "Have you seen Gwaine by any chance?"

"Who? Gwaine? Uh no." He whistled as he avoided my gaze.

"What have you got behind your back?" I questioned furrowing my eyebrows. He showed my one hand before placing it behind his back and showing me the other.

"Alright then." I awkwardly stated, rolling my eyes. "If you see Gwaine, then tell him to come find me."

"I will do." He smiles, almost apologetically at me before walking away still hiding his hands from my view. I walked away throughly confused and straight into Merlin, his face focused on an obvious mission.

"Y/n!" He exclaimed, happily surprised to see my face.  "Just the person I am looking for!"

"You were?" I questioned confused by his and Percival's behaviour.

"Yes, I was." He grinned at me and I grinned softly back, extremely confused.

"Look I have to go find Gwaine." I said pointing behind me and making to leave but he caught my arm before I could even go.

"Wait!" He cried frantically and I turned to face him confused. "I mean I need your help." He corrected himself, calmly this time.

"With what?" I sighed as he let go off my arm and rubbing the back of his head. "Woodlice." He said staring me down.

"Woodlice?" I questioned, sighing and he nodded.

"Woodlice." He smiled at me and I shook my head, rolling my eyes.

"Fine!"

Hours later I exited the last bedroom in the castle, servilely annoyed and tired. Merlin puffed out air beside me as he leant against the wall breathing heavily. A whistle sounded throughout the castle and Merlin looked up in relief.

"What was that?" I questioned looking up.

"Something to look forward to." He grinned before grabbing my hand. He pulled me away from the wall, and the both of our pairs of legs wobbled, before running me along the corridor.

"What's going on?" I questioned as Merlin came to a stop before a closed door.

"Trust me." He winked before placing his hands over my eyes. I giggled despite myself as his breath tickled down my spine. "If I remove my hands you have to promise to keep your eyes closed." He nudged me and I laughed nervously.

"Okay, I promise!" As his hands slipped away from my eyes, I kept to my promise and squeezed them shut, even when I felt myself being gently pushed forward.

"Right stay there." He gently tapped my shoulder as I felt his presence leave. "Open then in, three." He continued to whisper as I swayed on the spot curiosity getting the best of me. "Two," I took a deep breath as I joined my hands together in front of me. "One." A soft shutting sound came as another voice spoke.

"Open them." Instantly I opened my eyes to find the room completely covered in white sheets and flowers with Gwaine in the middle of it all. I gasped as my eyes took in each petal of my favourite flowers and Gwaine walked over to me taking my hands in his.

"Hello beautiful." He greeted and I chuckled smiling at him.

"Hi." I replied completely breathless. He looked down as he rubbed small circles into my hands before looking back up again.

"I love you, so much," He started looking directly into my eyes.

"I love everything about you and I cannot picture my life without you in it." Tears immediatly came to my eyes as he let go off my hands and took a step back.

"I love you so much that I have a very important question to ask you but I don't think I can do it alone." He winked at me before whistling and Merlin, Percival, Leon, Elyan and Arthur appeared from behind a sheet each holding a bouquet of flowers. Tears fell as I grinned at each of the boys as they handed me a flower before going to stand behind Gwaine.

"You look after myself and the boys with such care that makes me envision you in the future nurturing a child, our child. I cannot imagine a women who fits more perfectly with myself than you do and the boys agree." They nodded at this and they laughed causing me to wipe away a happy tear, my mind focused on the moment.

"I know you think that I rush into things without considering all the options and your are probably right but I do not want you thinking that about this. I have done nothing but thought about this since the moment I met you and I feel like this is the perfect time to ask," He turned to Arthur who handed Gwaine a small box before he faced me again but this time on one knee. I pressed a hand against my mouth as I gasped when he opened it revealing a small ring.

"Y/F/N will you please do me the honour of becoming my wife?"

The moment stopped and my mind was reeling. This was happening here Gwaine was down on one knee and I only had one thought that was yet to be voiced. And as I did, the boys behind Gwaine cried happily as I threw myself into his arms, pressing my lips against his all because of my one work answer.

"Yes."
