He slowly unlocked the door before stepping inside. I followed him and placed my coat on the coat hangers as he closed the door behind me. The smell of roast beef ran up to my nostrils- it smelt pretty good and I was certain it was Connor who cooked it. 'Connor?' Jacob shouted as we walked over to the dining room. The whole table was neatly decorated with plates, table knives, table spoons and glasses. There were pretty portraits of flowers and landscapes that were placed on the walls of the room. The whole house wasn't too big. It had two rooms, a bathroom upstairs and a toilet downstairs with a dining room that was separated from the kitchen that lead to a small garden outside. It seemed like a comforting little place and I guess they looked pretty happy in all their pictures. 'Yes, sweetheart?' A voice in the kitchen shouted back. The door quickly opened and out popped Connor with a knife on his hand as if he had just been cutting the beef. 'Katelynn!' He smiled, surprised at my presence. 'Katelynn!' He repeated, placing the knife down on the table. I grinned back at him as he walked over to me giving me a tight hug, 'I haven't seen you in ages, how have you been?' 'Great! Thanks.' He pulled out a chair for me and as I sat down, he sat down on the chair beside me. 'Sweetheart, I'm just going to get something upstairs.' Jacob muttered but surprisingly Connor ignored him with his full attention on me, 'I'm so glad you came here. You're definitely having tea with us!' He smiled. I quickly glanced at Jacob as he slowly walked off. 'Um.. yeah..' I laughed, 'I hope that's alright with you?' 'It's great!'

As I slowly walked up the stairs, I heard them laughing downstairs. I rolled my eyes at the sound of Connor's voice. 'Oh yeah! Just because she's here you think you can ignore me now?!' I stared at myself in the mirror, 'So pathetic!' I paused, 'And that Katelynn! I can tell she still likes him. What the hell? Can't she tell we're happy now?! She's ruining our relationship.' I grunted, 'Ugh! I'm sick of pretending someone I'm not anymore.' I punched the mirror as the pieces broke to the ground, 'You think you can do better than me? Think again!' I grabbed a white shirt from my wardrobe and quickly placed it on where it showed off my abs through it. I redid my hair by placing a bit of wax onto it before spraying some body spray onto my body. I smirked at myself, 'Let's see who falls now!'
