Wahdan's POV:
"You both are getting married in next week" They said in unison...leaving me shocked...
No more than that...
That doesn't matter ...
In a week...no ways...
"What?" We replicated each other....
"No ways dad...in a week.... You are giving me a shock..." I said...
"Wahdan...what's wrong in that...anyway its gonna happen then why not..?" He replied cooly
"But dad..its so early.....you know I'm not ready. ...." I was interrupted by him.."no buts wahdan...I said that and it's final..."
"Dad..." He dragged me outside...
"Dad...I have a meetings to attend in two days...I was about to inform you... And this...?...dad we can do this after an year...you know right i have planned everything for ma self...."
"Wahdan...we are not returning India again...I came here....." He took a deep breath..."for anat...because I promised her...and she said if I broke her promise she won't talk ....and wahdan.....I'm your father when I ask you to stay away from something that's for your good"
"I thought you came here for mom...because you miss her...dad I never understood the reason behind you not coming India... Whenever I tried to ask you... You delayed it...dad I need to know whats the matter "..
"There is no need for you to know wahdan...just stay away from it ...and do as I say..." He raised his voice
"Dad....this is too much....what's the matter...we have so many relatives living here... We have a house here.....all the family everyone lives here and we come to India and we stay somewhere else not with them...why?...dad after mom...we left India.... We never came back...!...something is wrong dad...you are hiding something..." I replied raising ma voice ...
"Wahdan ...I said just stay away from this...there is nothing I hiding... And we have no one living over here.." His anger raised...and i heard someone gasping I turned to face aanayah standing near the tree...dad looked at her..and then me..
"..and if you are done let me inform you...your wedding is next week...and that's final...you can arrange valima in Australia if you want..." He said
Calming down...walking away...
He stopped his tracks and turned and said "and yea you can go for your meeting and return as soon as possible... "
Aanayah's POV:
Next week??...isn't this too early?..i was as shocked as wahdan was ...even I'm not ready...what's this...
After his father took him outside I asked mom and dad ....
"What's this dad ?...this is very early... I'm not even ready to digest this !!" I frowned...
And earned chuckle from salah ..."Lil girl its not even food for you to digest" he laughed
"Bhai its not something to laugh at.... I'm serious..." I firmly replied...
"Ohk ohk."he raised his hands up and then said "Dad she is right...its really quick ....I can't afford two of ma sisters going away from me!!" To which I smiled...
"Beta I know this is quick... But trust us beta...they came for a month vacation and now its more than that...they have to leave and Habib wants to take aanayah with him...and I'm so happy ma both the daughters will be married in just a month difference..." Dad said...
