"Are u sure u wanna do this?" Damon asked and I sighed turning to him. "Yes." I said and I walked past him out the door of my room and he followed me behind.
"Hey. Are u okay?" Hanna asked and I nodded. "I'm not okay. I mean its my real mom's funeral, i'm not supposed to be okay." I said and she nodded pulling me into a hug. "Just so u know, i'm here for u." She said and we pulled away.
"Black looks good on u." I heard Grayson say and I turned around, "didn't think u looked good in suit and tie." I gave him a smile and he walked close to me, pulling me into a hug.
My lips formed into a little smile as I smelled his cologne. I pulled away and he showed me a smile. One of his beautiful ones. And I don't know what I would do if something happened to him now that Vincent is behind me.
"Lets get going, shall we?" He asked and I nodded, linking my arm with his. I walked down the stairs along with him and we walked out the front door. I made my way inside the car, followed by Grayson, Alec, Magnus and Stefan. The others were in other cars together.
If u haven't noticed yet. Today is the day. The funeral. My real mother's funeral. "Are u okay?" Magnus asked as I stared out the window. "Yeah, i'm okay." I answered. Not sure if it is true or not.
"U know? U can talk to me for everything u need. I'm here." He said and I forced a smile. "Thank u. I really appretiate it." I said and he nodded back. Looking out the window I thought about everything possible, until we arrived infront of the cemetery.
I walked out the car and followed Grayson. He told me to sit in the front next to Peter and Damon, until he comes back. I looked down at my hands as I heard people crying all around me.
"U okay?" Someone asked and I looked up. "I'm Natalie." She smiled and i forced one back. "I'm Lina. And to be honest I'm not okay. At all." I said and she raised a brow. "But I'm gonna be okay. Thanks for asking. "I said and she nodded. "I'm here for anything u need." She said giving me a hug and then walked away.
I turned my head to the person next to me as he cried. "Hey, big bro." I said putting my arm around Stefan's shoulder. "Hey little sis." He said looking at me. "I'm really sorry about this." I said and he leaned back on his chair and pulled me into a hug. "It is not ur fault." He said and I just stood there in his arms. In my brother's arms.
They were soon all throwing flowers on her grave. Soon my turn came around and I placed my flower, sitting down on the ground next to her grave. "I know that we haven't known each other for long and I wish we did." I said my eyes getting teary.
"I would want to have more time with u. And tell u about my life, how I grew up, my pervious boyfriends." I let out a chuckle, wipping my tears away.
"Boyfriends?" Damon asked and I looked up at him to see his brow raised and I shook my head. "I'll come again and visit u. Whenever I need to talk to someone." I said and got up. "Come on." Damon said giving me a hand and dragging me up.
"Thank u." I said and he nodded. We both started walking to the car in complete silence. I could sense that Damon was about to ask me something. "Okay so about those boyfriends?" He started and I started giggling. "Thank u for forgiving us. And coming back to our lives." Damon said and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and I wrapped mine around his waist.
"U're my family. Of course I forgive u guys." I said and he smiled. He opened the door and I got in the car. He sat in the driver's seat and we were driving home. When we arrived home, I noticed Grayson out the door with suitcases. I walked out and walked over to him.
"Where are u going?" I asked and he smirked. "I'm going to my house and u are gonna be coming with me." He said and I smiled. "Okay then. I would really like some days off from all the things that happened." I said and he nodded. In a blink he placed the suitcases in the back of the car and came over to me.
"Ready?" He asked and I gave him my hand. "Ready." I said and he walked me over to the passenger seat, and opened the door for me. He soon got in the driver's seat and he started driving.
"U know? I never thought u'd feel the same about me." He said taking my hand in his. "I felt the same for u. It just took me a long time to realise that, I love u."
