My make up was minimal.
I was almost done when there was a knock at the door. My stylist opened the door revealing my Mom. I motioned my stylist to go out for a while since I sensed she wanted to talk about something. She came and kissed my forehead cupping my face and I smiled at her. She sat next to me and holding my hands said.
"I had always dreamed this day, when I will dress you up like a bride. Preet I know I haven't been with you always but remember you are my child and I love you." She said as she picked my necklace and placed it around my neck and then picked my earings making me wear them.

"Preet, Kabir. He isn't perfect, you aren't either and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh atleast once, cause you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and make mistakes, hold on to him and give him the most you can. He isn't going to quote poetry, He won't be be thinking about you every moment. But he will give you a part of him that he knows you can break. Don't hurt him, don't change him and don't expect more than he can give. Don't analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad and miss him when he is not there. Love him mad. Because perfect guys do not exist but remember there is always one guy who is perfect for you." She completed placing the maang tika on my forehead and kissing me there.
