Surpise Shower

Savanna POV

"I'm here." I read off of my phone as I finish curling my hair. I quickly throw a pair of sandals on and go downstairs.

"Demi, I'm going out with Nolan. I'll be back around four."

"Okay. Text me when you get there and when your on your way home."

"Okay... Bye guys." I say to Bentley and Ava as they eat their lunch.

I get outside and Nolan's in his car.

"Hey." I say getting in.

"Hey." He says leaning over and giving me a kiss. "Are you nervous?"

"About what?"

"Meeting my parents?"

"Kind of... They didn't even want us to be together because I was pregnant and meeting them when I look like a hot air balloon about to pop doesn't make me feel better."

He laughs at my comparison and takes my hand.

"They are fine with us dating. They are actually excited to meet you. And Noah's excited to see you again."

I nod and look out the window. I'm officially out of school until the baby comes and will be out for a few weeks after she's born. I'm not sure how long yet. It depends on when I'm ready to go back and how early I can get her into day care.

We pull up to his house and he helps me out of the car. We walk inside and Noah runs up to me.

"Hey." I say smiling as I bend down to give him a hug. He starts to talk about everything he wants to show me before I leave and I just laugh.

"Okay Noah... Go play until lunch is ready." His dad says walking in. I stand up and get a little nervous but calm down as we start to introduce ourselves.

"I'm Savanna." I say smiling shyly at his parents.

"I'm Jason. This is my wife Jaycee."

"Nice to meet you." I say shaking his dad's hand and giving his mom a hug.

"I hope your hungry." His mom says walking me into the kitchen. Nolan laughs and follows behind. We all take a plate and walk around the kitchen in buffet style, getting what we want and then sitting down.

We start to eat and they decide they want to know more about me.

"She has a little brother!" Noah says.

"Yeah I have a little brother Bentley and a twin brother Aaron. Then my mom's boyfriends daughter Ava is like my sister."

"What about anything after school? Have any hobbies?"

"I have a job... That's pretty much it." I say laughing since I'm not really active or anything and don't do any sports.

Noah finishes his food and has Nolan go upstairs with him to help him get his toy to bring down to show me. I take this time to talk with his parents and make sure their okay with us being together.

"So... I know before, you guys weren't happy with Nolan and I dating because of my situation. I just want to be sure you guys are okay with Nolan and I being together. The last thing I wanna do is disrespect your wishes and what you want for your son."

"Savanna, I think you are a wonderful young lady." His mother says very sincerely. "I'm happy that my son found a girl that makes him as happy as you do. Yeah, you made a mistake but that does not change the person you are inside."

"I did make a mistake, and I don't regret it anymore. I'm looking forward to having my daughter but I want you guys to know that I would never take advantage of your son. I know that my baby is not his responsibility and I'm not gonna put that on him. I just want you guys to know that."
