On this list I had Alan Rickman as a potential Doctor. Sadly, as most of you may have already heard, Alan Rickman passed away January 14, 2016 due to cancer. Alan was an extremely talented actor and a wise, smart, kind, loving, amazing person, and it's really devastating for me to hear that he passed away. You never really realize how much you actually care for an actor, a person you've never even met before, until they're gone. Alan Rickman was probably best known for playing Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films, and now that he's gone it's sad to think that (SPOILER ALERT COMING) Snape is actually gone, for real this time. If that makes sense. And don't worry, I understand that Alan Rickman was more than Snape. Anyway, we all loved Alan Rickman, and he wasn't just Severus Snape, he was a wonderful wonderful amazing amazing person.

James Nesbitt: Many of you may know this funny actor from The Hobbit trilogy where he played Bofur the dwarf. Nesbitt has also played roles such as Dave in Cherrybomb, Sicinius in Coriolanus, Cathal in Outcast, and many many more. He's also been nominated for many awards and has won may as well. James Nesbitt was hilarious in The Hobbit, and I think this Irish actor definitely has the potential to be the next Doctor.

James McAvoy: This Scottish actor is best known for playing Mr. Tumnus in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, Dr. Nicholas Garrigan in The Last King of Scotland, Robbie Turner in Atonement, Gnomeo in Gnomeo and Juliet, Professor Charlies Xavier in X-Men, and many more. McAvoy has been nominated for and won many awards, and I think this actor would be very well suited for the role of the Doctor, due to his acting range, talent, and excessive abilities.

Gary Oldman: People will know this actor from many, many, many different places. To name a few, Count Dracula in Bram Stoker's Dracula, Sirius Black in the Harry Potter series, James Gordon in the Batman series, Dreyfus in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and so so so many more. Gary Oldman's range is astounding, his acting talent is superb, and he can play any character. ANY character, including the next Doctor.

Andy Serkis: This English actor is best known for his work with motion capture, playing motion capture roles such as Gollum from The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit trilogy, Caesar in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars The Force Awakens, and other roles in both motion capture and regular. Serkis' range and acting talent is wide and vast, and I could definitely see him playing the Doctor at any time. He's a very funny guy, and can also play dramatic, evil, serious, and anything else needed for a role.

Simon Pegg: We all know and love this English actor. Simon Pegg is a comedic actor that is hilarious! He's played Shaun Riley in Shaun of the Dead, Benji Dunn in the Mission Impossible series, Nicholas Angel in Hot Fuzz, Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in Star Trek, Unkar Plutt in Star Wars The Force Awakens, and many many more. He was also in a Doctor Who episode as The Editor in the series 1 episode "The Long Game." Pegg is a magnificent actor that would be absolutely perfect for the role of the Doctor.

Domnhall Gleeson: You may not recognize the name, but I'm sure you'd recognize the face. This Irish actor has portrayed Bill Weasley in the Harry Potter series, Moon (The Kid) in True Grit, Konstantin Levin in Anna Karenina, Caleb in Ex Machina, General Hux in Star Wars The Force Awakens, and many more. He is also the son of actor Brendan Gleeson, who played Mad Eye Moody in the Harry Potter series and Ken from In Bruges (plus many more). Gleeson is very talented, and if you've seen any of his works you'll understand.

Adam Driver: If you're a Star Wars fan, you know who this guy is. This American actor is best known for his starring role Adam Sackler in the HBO series Girls, Al Cody from Inside Llewyn Davis, Phillip Altman from This Is Where I Leave You, and most known, Kylo Ren from Star Wars The Force Awakens. This actor definitely has the acting range and abilities to play the Doctor. He can play funny, evil, sad, serious, and literally any emotion and any characters. Driver certainly does possess to talent to bring the next Doctor to life.

Tilda Swinton: She is a British actress known for many works, such as The White Witch from the Narnia series, Eve from Only Lovers Left Alive, Dianna from Trainwreck, Madame Celine Villeneuve Desgoffe-und-Taxis from Grand Budaphest Hotel, Mason from Snowpiercer, and many more. Swinton is known for her broad acting range and abilities, and I believe she could easily be the first female Doctor. She's got the power, and talent, and everything else the Doctor needs.

Oscar Isaac: If you're a Star Wars fan, you know who this guy is. This dude is an immensely talented actor, amazing at every role he plays. He portrayed Joseph in The Nativity Story, Prince John in Robin Hood, Llewyn Davis in Inside Llewyn Davis, Nathan Bateman in Ex Machina, Poe Dameron in Star Wars The Force Awakens, and is going to play En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse. Not to mention to tons of other roles he's had. Oscar is an extremely funny, smart, talented, great guy who would be GREAT for the role of the Doctor.

That's all folks! My list of amazing actors and actresses I'd like to see play the next Doctor. See you next time!
