i know mark wahlberg was also apart of nkotb for about a year then left and was soon replaced by someone named jamie kelley [before joey our blue eyed baby came along] and Jordan and Jonathan didn't go to school with Donnie and Danny but let's pretend none of that happened, and they did. oh yeaaaah, joey came a year after the group was made and he was 12 at the time but since i cut out a few things he's 11 in here, the age he would be if mark and jamie were to join....okay continue with the story.

a month later

we ended up finding our micheal jackson. but instead of his name being micheal, it was joey. joey mcintyre. he was pretty shy, i mean as shy as an 11 year old surrounded by 14-16 year olds could be. his irides were a piercing blue and as soon as i laid my eyes on him i took a liking to the kid, i could already see him becoming like the little brother i never had.
as soon as maurice had the boys sing 'i'll be there' again this time with joey it sounded like a match made in heaven.
of course the guys were a bit skeptical about having a 11 year old singing with them but they didn't let it phase them, much.

eventually the guys along with myself told our parents what was going on and to our surprise they supported everything one-hundred and one percent. everyday i still went with donnie to maurices, it became a daily routine and after about a few weeks of actually getting to know each other we were all suddenly bestfriends.

since the day me and jordan first talked to each other it's like he was everywhere i was and i don't mean that in a weird stalkerish kind of way. before i never noticed that i had him in most of my classes or that i passed him every morning while going to my locker, he's always been amongst me without me even knowing, which i find a bit strange because who could miss such a beautiful face like his.

"all i'm saying is if i had to pick i'd much rather do a collaboration with new edition then the jacckson 5" donnie shrugged, taking a sip of his carton of milk.

jonathan nodded respectfully while danny scuffed, throwing his napkin at donnie in the process. he went on to explain how collaborating with the jackson 5 would be better. i zoned out from the rest of the conversation, not really finding it that interesting. from my peripheral vision i could see people at different lunch tables staring our way. its been like this for weeks, the word about the boys working with the maurice starr slipped around town and now everywhere we went people would second glance us. the guys didn't seem to mind or even notice but it made me uncomfortable to say the least.

"what do you think?" jordan asked, causing me to stop thinking and join the real world again.
"sorry, what did you say?" i blushed, obviously not paying attention to the boys conversation.

"candy girl or i'll be there?"

"don't get me wrong i love both songs but candy girl, it has that catchy feel to it."

"that's exactly what i said" jordan expressed, a contagious smile stained on his face. behind his dark chocolate eyes emotions danced freely as an intense staring game broke up between the two of us.

donnie awkwardly coughed, making both of us losers in our own game. "anyways.. after school maurice said instead of his house we gotta meet up at the ymca."

"the one down the street" i asked, covering my mouth to subside my urge to sneeze but failing miserably.
"bless you" all the guys said in unison.

"and yeah that's the one." donnie carried on.

the piercing sound of the lunch bell rang in our ears. slowly everyone evacuated the cafeteria in order to get to their next period class, a few others lingered around not caring if they were late or not.
i bide the boys farewell as we all split up and went our own way.
"wait up sky!" a voice yelled hastily. coming my way.
