Meeting a Legend (Herobrine X Reader)

Chapter 13

I was packing a bag or two to take with me. I had included all my favorite books. Including my manga. My fluffy comforter for my bed in MC along with my favorite pillow. A bunch of my clothes and some of my favorite snacks that I couldn't make in minecraft.
I walked over to Herobrine stuff in hand.
"Geez got enough stuff."
"I dont know when or if Ill be coming back so I figured I would bring stuff this time."
I stood next to Herobrine waiting for him to teleport us back to his world. When I was literally swept off my feet. I looked at him slightly confused. I wasnt sick anymore so I didnt understand why he was holding me.
"Its easier if im holding you. Now close your eyes."
I did as I was asked and waited till he said I could open them again.
"Were back."
I opened my eyes and saw the familiar hall of his mansion. He set me down.
"You know your a lot heavier with all the books and stuff."
I laughed a bit "to heavy for the 'great Herobrine'.
"I never said that, and dont mock me."
"I only do it out of love" I said giving off a big smile.
I carried my stuff to my room and unloaded it. I laid out my comforter on my bed and placed my pillow next to the other one. After I had already put my books on the book shelf in the room.
I stepped back and looked at the room. It seemed more like my room now. I headed back out of my room. I walked around the mansion looking for Herobrine. But ended up finding a note instead. It said he needed to get more ingredients for the healing potion and that he would be back later.
I was kind of disappointed. I wanted to go out and do something with him now that I was feeling better.
I decided I would check on ny slime. I took a steak from the chest in living room and headed out to my house.
*time skip*
I opened the door and was almost attacked by my slime. I shut the door behind me and picked up the small slime.
"I missed you to Bob. Look I even brought you something."
I pulled out the steak from my bag. I cut it in half and gave half to Bob. To which he quickly ate.
"You were hungry weren't you." I said petting the slime. I looked outside it was getting dark. I needed to head back.
"You want to come with me back to the big house." I asked the small slime then opened my bag some. He jumped in. I headed out of my house to go back to Hero's mansion. When I was stopped by someone calling my name.
I looked up and saw someone running towards me in the distance. Someone with Blue eyes.
"Steve?"
I waited a few minutes for him to catch up. He got to me and after catching his breath. Started to speak.
"Mia..Im glad I caught you."
"Um any particular reason why?" I said as I started walking in the direction of Herobrine house him following.
"I had something I wanted to ask you."
"What"
"If your free next Saturday. Theres this cave I want to explore but it would be more fun to explore with someone."
"I dont see why I would be busy so.....maybe." I said.
"And you see I think....I... might....I just might have." He started to say while rubbing the back of his neck.
I quickly put my hand over his mouth. "Shush, did you hear that."
"Hear what?"
An Arrow whizzed by and landed and hit the tree right next to me. A Skelton was near by I thought. I pulled out my sword. Ready to use it when the need arised. I was about to keep walking when a spider dropped down on us. Me and Steve fought it. Steve delivered the final blow making it poof into smoke.
I unfortunately got distracted by the the spider and had forgotten about the skelton in the distance. I remembered when I felt a sharp pain in my side. I looked down to see an arrow in my side. Everything in me wanted to pull it out then and there but I know that would just make it worse.
"Why do you skelton hate me so! What did I ever do to you!" I yelled at the skelton.
"Mia!" I heard Steve yell. He went to run to my aid but ended up becoming preoccupied with a couple zombies.
I could still move, I could still fight. It just freaking hurt. Another spider descended from the trees and went to attack me. I was fighting off the spider when I got shot with another arrow in the thigh this time. I fell to the ground.
"Could someone kill the dam Skelton please!" I yelled.
The spider who I hadnt killed yet. Started to me and was about to attack. I reflexively closed my eyes waiting for the pain to come. But it never did.
I opened my eyes to see Someone standing in front of me holding a diamond sword which was run through the spider that was trying to attack me.
"Dont you dare touch Mia."
"Herobrine!" I silently yelled.
He had a look of fury in his eyes like never before. He summoned lighting down that killed all the mobs in the immediate area. Then sent a fireball at the skelton that had shot me twice.
Without turning to face me. He asked "Why did you stay out this late."
"I was going to come home earlier I swear. I just got slowed down when Steve found me and wanted to talk."
"He couldnt even manage to protect you...after keeping you out." I heard him mutter.
It sounded like was talking to himself a bit there. He walked towards Steve who know looked a little scared.
"I-I-m sorry Herobrine. I didnt mean for her to get hurt."
Without replying he stabbed the diamond sword though his chest. He pulled it back out. Steve feel to the ground and died leaving a small cloud of smoke behind.
Herobrine walked back over to picked me and teleported us back to the mansion. He had teleported us into his bedroom. He set me down on his bed and got out some bandages and a red bottle. He gently broke the sticks of the arrows in half and the feather parts fell to the floor.
He took off my shirt so he could treat the wounds better.
Normally I would be embarrassed but I was worried. The way he was moving was cold and mechanical. I didnt like it. I could feel his anger from here.
"Hero"
No response.
"Hero, are you okay."
"Your asking me if im ok. While your in this state."
"Im fine...."
"No your not." He said as he pulled out one of the arrows. I winced.
"I guess but I will be."
He pulled out the other arrow. To which I balled up my fist digging my fingernails into my palm. To avoid wincing again. Those Dam skeletons I thought.
I slowly released my fist.
Hero started to put some red liquid on some bandages which I assumed was healing potion. Then proceeded to wrapped my leg.
He stayed quiet during that it wasnt till he started to wrap my side that he decided to speak again.
"Steve just doesnt get it or hadnt realised yet that you cant respawn. If you die your dead. I wont be able to get you back. And I cant have that happen." He said his voice starting to waver a bit on the last part.
I grabbed his chin and lifted his face so he was looking at me. "I will be fine I have you to protect me right?"
He nodded yes then pulled me into a tight embrace. I returned it trying to reassure him that he wasnt going to lose me.
We just stayed like that for a while intill he released me.

Ok so this was originally suspose d to come out yesterday to made up for not updating for a while. But I fell asleep while I was re-reading checking for obvious mistakes but its out now.
