Band One-Shots {VOL. 1 COMPLETE}

You walked along a alley way in Berkley, and when you reached the lot that it lead into, you saw the town famous Michael Ryan Pritchard kicking around a can. You hadn't actually seen him in a while, since he moved to Oakland when he was way younger.

But you recognized him none the less.

"Hey Pritchard! Haven't seen you in years." you called out, walking closer to him.

He looked up and stared at you for a moment.

"Y/N." he said.

Now how the hell did he remember you? you wondered.

"Its Mike Dirnt now. I don't go by Michael anymore." he said.

"Ah. Why's that?" you asked.

"It's a... stupid story." he smiles looking down, scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh, come on!" You said nudging his arm.

"My friend Billie bought me a Bass, and since you cant bring them to school, I would play air bass all the time, so the noise I would make was the word Dirnt, and it stuck." he said.

You nodded and laughed. "That's cool though." you smiled at him.

"Oh, and I didn't think you'd recognize me." you laughed.

"Of course I recognized you I've always had a crush on yo-...oh... Woops..." he said. At the start of his sentence he was smiling but now his face has gone blank and he avoided eye contact.

"What?" you asked, your cheeks turning pink.

"I always... Had a... uh... acrushonyou..." he said quickly.

"A what?" you ask again, a tad smug.

He looked at you with a 'really?' look and then looked down and scratched the back of his neck.

You laughed and kissed his cheek. He looked up at you wide-eyed and then his cheeks turned a dark pink.

You pulled out your phone, opened a new contact, and told him to pose for a photo.

He gave your camera  a serious look and then pulled down the corner of his collar.

You set it as his photo and had him enter his information, and you did the same with his phone.

"How long you in town for?" you ask.

"A few weeks..." he said.

"We'll have to get together then." you said.

"I'm free now."

"Lets go."

And you two hung out for the rest of the day, and well on into the night.
