The following few weeks that went by were uneventful. Life was slowly becoming boring and routine albeit the adventures on Lifescape. Just when I thought things couldn't possibly get interesting, a new subject brought forth in clan chat sought to change all the dullness that was slowly creeping in.
Zezoon69 : Look, I'm telling you guys, we gotta start doing this. Other clans have been doing this forever and they're just ape shit ranking!
RosyBug : I guess I'm willing to give it a try but really this game shouldn't be about competition Zez.
Zezoon69 : What you talking about woman? It's ALL about competing!
RosyBug : *rolls eyes*
Zezoon69 : Sweetheart u just keep rolling all u want, we gotta climb the ranks and be awesome! The rest of u in?
Coolkid10 has logged in.
Coolkid10 : Clannies! How's mah pimples doing?
Oh yeah, Coolkid10 has started calling everyone in the clan 'pimples'. Probably a non too subtle attempt at hinting about the onset of his own puberty. Or possibly declining maturity. I can't decide which is worse.
Goat_34 : For the last time, stop calling me your pimples! Sign me up Zez. Cmon Lady, join please!
Coolkid10 : Ah chill! You know I lurve ya bro! <3

Okay, let's rewind a bit here. So Zezoon69 has been trying to get our clan to use the Ventrilo software so we can better coordinate when we play clan games on Lifescape. It's basically a software that lets us literally talk to each other as a group, instead of typing on the game as we've been doing all this while. Let me tell you, it IS a big change. None of us have ever heard each other's voice before. And Zezoon69 has been hinting that all of us are probably guys and that's why he 'sensed' reluctantness from some of us female clannies. That really bugs me sometimes. I'm always having to defend my gender in this game. Somehow boys think they're the only legit genders who can play games online. You know what, I've had enough of this!
Ladylurve : Let's do this! Let's freaking Vent!
Zezoon69 : Ho! Let's do this!!!!!!! The Lady has spoken. Cmon Rosy, don't you wanna prove to us that you're a woman after all?
RosyBug : Bah.. humbug! I have nothing to prove. Besides, I don't care for these clannies game.
So majority of us downloaded Ventrilo and I found myself trying to breathe calmly as the program started. Not sure how I felt about Zezoon69 calling the chat TheZezGang but I'm sure the democratic members of our clan will soon retaliate at the absurdity of his unraveling power-crazy behavior. I muted my microphone. Hey, I wasn't going to be the first to talk!
I listened in. At first I heard some background static noise but nothing else. There were a few members logged in already. Zezoon69 was obviously there as he had to setup the group conference room, apart from being the self-appointed leader. I could see CoolKid10, DeathMuster, and Goat_34 in the conference room as well. Then I noticed that the background noise went momentarily louder before disappearing again. This was to be followed by at-least-I'm-sure-it-was some heavy breathing. I laughed and typed into the clan chat on Lifescape.
