Ashna's POV.

White describes purity and peace, strength and kindness. The white dress fits me very well.

The dress hit my knees, the sleeves were of white net and the back was cut into a deep 'V'. Pretty perfect!

I tied my hair in a bun with a pearl clutch. My ears shined with pearl earrings and I complimented my look with white stilletoes. With a light eye makeup, I complete my look.

The clock read 7:20 p.m., my time to leave. I wonder what will be next. What has Roy planned?

I tried to calm my nervousness. This is Roy and no-one else. Everything will be fine.

Silver Spring Park was an hour drive including traffic. And with my luck, I got stuck in traffic and therefore I reached a few minutes late.

The huge park was empty and dark. Strange!

I parked my car and walked towards the entrance. I step foot on the pedestal and walked through the aisle. The passageway was in the middle of rows of trees and bushes and olden style pillers. The Silver Spring Park was made by the british before the Indian Independence.

The park was beautiful with the old english architectural touch.

As I started walking, one-by-one the wooden lanterns lit up, giving me light to walk the way. Those are my favorite lanterns, carved by blind carpenters.

After 20 lanterns were lit, the passageway ended to a beautifully decorated garden full of white roses.

This is extremely beautiful. I stared in awe.

But.... where is Roy?

Click! A white light flashed and I knew it was Roy with his camera.

Two, three more flashes.

I smiled as he came infront of me and was granted with his own handsome smile. He looked very handsome in his white shirt with folded sleeves and blue faded jeans.

"You look beautiful." He complimented.

I blush immediately. "You are no less." He grins.

"Thanks for coming."

"You left me no option." I smile.

He scoffed. "Means if you had an option then you would have not shown up and reject me?"

"You never leave me a choice, Roy." I say and roll my eyes. Well, good start to my date.

His eyes flashed sadness. I immediately regret my statement.

"Just kidding. I wouldn't reject you." He flashed his widest grin.

"This place looks beautiful." I look around in awe. The whole place was lit by lanterns.

"Beautiful place for a beautiful girl." He smirks.

"How cheesy!" I chuckle at his line. "Thanks for your gifts." I give a genuine smile.

"Stop saying thanks."

He pulled the chair for me to sit. Such a sweet gesture. Who knew Roy was such a romantic gentleman.

"I have a gift for you." He smiles and places a silver paper wrapped gift.

"You already gave me so many gifts." I said. I'm not used to so many gifts.
