Kurt and I managed to not run into Dave Karofsky the first few weeks of school. However, we did get slushy facials at least once a day, but that was manageable. I learned that if I close my eyes and hold my noise, it isn't that bad.
I was sitting in English class, mindlessly drawing on the cover of my notebook when my phone began buzzing. It was a message from the Tween Chipmunk.
Tween Chipmunk: So either, you are avoiding me very well here at Dalton or you don't go here any more.
Me: Who came up with that idea, you or your other little chipmunk brothers?
I put the phone back down and went on to continue drawing in my notebook.
"Uh, Blaine did you do your reading last night?" Mrs. Lewis asked me.
I put my pencil down and thought back to last night. Let's see, I got home, I ate, and then I spent the rest of the night with my boyfriend, who was reading. What was Kurt reading? Um, oh, he was reading Romeo and Juliet, and he was talking about it while I was what? I was doing math homework.
"Yes, yes I did," I said with a smile,
"So what is your take on their love story? Of Romeo and Juliet's love story?" she asked, her piercing green eyes burning into mine.
"I think it was too much, but then again not enough because if you truly love somebody you will do anything to be with them. The only thing was that the suicide wasn't all that because it was kind of overly dramatic," I said, surprised at how much I actually knew about the story even though I didn't read it.
"Vey good, anybody else?" she asked, tearing her gaze from me.
Thank goodness, I went back to drawing and my phone, which was buzzing fiercely on my lap.
Tween Chipmunk: Ha-ha very funny Blainey Boy! But seriously where the hell are you?
Me: With your mama!
He was going to be pissed, but that's fine with me because I can easily kick his ass.
My phone buzzed again and I slid in on the desk under my notebook.
Tween Chipmunk: You are going to eat those words
Me: I'm not scared of you
"Mr. Anderson?" Mrs. Lewis called me.
I looked up at here and he face was red.
"Yes?"
"Find a partner and work on the assignment," she scolded.
I looked around and saw Kurt sitting all by himself so I hurriedly grabbed my things and moved to sit next to him.
"Who are you texting?" he asked when I set my phone down on the table. "Who is 'Tween Chipmunk' oh, Sebastian. Ha, you are funny," he laughed, sliding the phone next to me.
It buzzed again and we both read the message.
Tween Chipmunk: You're going to be when I'm done with you!
Me: No, I don't think so. Oh Kurt said hi!
"He's going to come after you," Kurt laughed.
"He don't know where to find me," I said with a smirk.
"Mr. Anderson Mr. Hummel! Assignment now!" Mrs. Lewis barked.
We looked up and laughed.
"What do we have to do? I wasn't listening." I said, putting my phone in my pocket.
"We have to write an alternative ending to Romeo and Juliet," he explained.
"Easy enough. Have them flee Verona so they can be together," I said,
"Hm, that's a good idea," Kurt beamed.
After class we had lunch which was an open field for Karofsky. He never emerged though, which was a great thing. I wasn't scared of him or anything, I was really just tired of his ass trying to mess up what we had, it was getting old.
