The popular TV show, Outer Banks, follows a group of friends living in a small coastal town in North Carolina. The town is divided into two social classes: the wealthy "Kooks" who reside on Figure Eight and the working-class "Pogues" who live on the other side of the inlet, within "the Cut." The story primarily revolves around the Pogues, but it also explores the simmering rivalry between the two groups.
Our protagonists are four inseparable friends: John B, Kie, Pope, and JJ. They're looking forward to spending an idyllic summer together, relaxing on their boat, the HMS Pogue, fishing, partying, and enjoying all the usual teenage summer activities. However, their plans are upended by an unexpected treasure hunt, which sets the story in motion.
As the friends embark on the treasure hunt, they face various challenges, including run-ins with law enforcement, child protection services (DCFS), and, of course, the Kooks. The hunt is a thrilling and suspenseful adventure, with each episode bringing a new twist and turn.
During their journey, one of the Kooks, Sarah Cameron, joins the Pogues on their summer adventure. However, she soon realizes the consequences of switching sides.

Outer Banks took the world by storm when the first season premiered on Netflix in 2020. With four seasons already released, fans eagerly await the fifth season.
