Your POV
"Look there! There! No no no look at that!" Brendan, my boyfriend of three years yelled as we walked through the Ecomuseum Zoo in Montreal.
"I see it Bren. You act as though you've never been to the zoo before." I laughed as he pressed his face up against the glass where the meerkats lived.
"Babe, there are monkeys here. (Y/N) monkeys! Can we go see them?" He asked jumping up and down like a five year old child.
"Sure Brendan. Whatever you want to do." I said with a smile.
Brendan dragged me down the walkway which had a sign that pointed towards the monkeys. When we reached the animal Brendan began jumping mimicking monkey sounds and acting like one to get their attention. The animals looked at him strangely trying to wrap their hands around what exactly he was doing.
"C'mon let's go get a snowcone." I said trying to drag Brendan away from the monkey exhibit before one tried to attack him.
"SNOWCONES!" Brendan yelled as he ran in front of me to the small concession stand.
Once we had gotten our snowcones we settled on a bench next to the playground. We silenting ate our snowcones as we took in our surroundings.
"Your crazy you know that" I laughed as blue syrup dripped off Brendan's chin.
"Crazy for you." He said with a wink before leaning in to kiss me.
"Ewwwww Bren!" I screeched as syrup was smeared on my face.
"Wanna make purple?" He asked with a smirk.
"There are children here." I whispered quickly.
Brendan laughed as he threw his arm around my shoulder and I cuddled up into his side. We watched the children run around the playground jumping and running around the play sets.
"Do you ever think about having kids?" Brandan asked me as we continued to observe the children running back and forth between the obstacles.
I backed away from his embrace to give him a mortified look.
"Brendan, did you see the way you were acting today? You are the child!" I said laughing his question off.
"(Y/N) I'm serious. Listen to me for a minute." Brendan exclaimed.
I looked at him with shock in my eyes at his seriousness.
"Kids, I just really haven't thought about it. I mean me, a mother. I couldn't imagine it. I'm only twenty-two. We aren't even ma-" I said before I was cut off.
"Marry me."
'What?" I choked out.
"Marry me (Y/N)."
"You don't mean that Brendan. " I said quietly.
"Yes, yes I do (Y/N). I love you ,but I'm pretty sure you already knew that. You are quite honestly the love of my life. I would be lost without you. I want to start a life with you. I want to start a family with you. I want to grow old with you. I want you to see me win a Stanley Cup. I want it all with you. Marry me and become Mrs. Brendan Gallagher." He exhaled with tears in his eyes.
Brendan wiped the tears that were now streaming down my face with the pad of his thumb.
"I've actually had this in my pocket for a while now and I didn't know exactly when the right moment would be. It was my great grandmothers. I know this isn't exactly the most perfect place to do it but it feels like the perfect time." He said as he got down on one knee.
"(Y/F/N) (Y/M/N) (Y/L/N) will you make me the happiest man on the planet and become Mrs. Brendan Gallagher?"
I smiled through tears as I nodded my head up and down. and the beautiful diamond ring was placed on my finger.
"Yes Brendan Adam Matthew Gallagher. Yes." I choked out as I threw my arms around his neck and embraced him in a tight hug.
"I love you Bren and I can't wait to spend my happily ever after with you!" I whispered softly in his ear.
Part two or nah? I'm back! Ok, so question. Most of my imagines are 1000+ words. That is why it takes me so long to get them up. This one is a little over 600 words. Would it be ok if I kept them this length so I could publish more? Let me know your feedback! Thank you!
