*I'm usually not one to start Christmas stuff before December 10th.. Oh well screw it*

Christmas. You loved it. Always so happy and festive, usually very calm and quiet. But this year, you were spending Christmas with your boyfriend, Dean Winchester. He's always said that Christmas was chaotic, or just down right sad. But, you were determined for this year to be different for both him and his brother Sam.

You bought a Christmas tree and brought it into the bunker. Sam helped, his height being an advantage to balance out the tree. Dean helped set it up and everything that turned out okay. No broken limbs on the tree, or a human.

You knew the whole story of why Sam and Dean never had a good Christmas. Hunting. A sport that almost never let anyone have any fun. Except maybe Dean a couple times. And Sam, but no one really talks about that.

"Y/N, Sammy made a paper one of these in first grade." Dean said, helping you decorate the tree. You smiled and looked over at Sam, who instantly had a look on his face.

"Really?" You asked, still looking over at Sam. Sam shrugged and shook his head.

"I had to as a school project..." He said, continuing his decorating. Dean instantly mouthed 'no' to you and started the story.

"So there was seven year old Sammy and eleven year old me. Sam came home one day from school with this paper Christmas tree. He begged dad for twenty minutes to let us put presents under it like a normal family. I guess dad got tired of the whining, because he gave in. We taped the tree to the wall and placed our three or four presents under it." Dean said, pausing from the tree decorating to get a beer. Sam still had the look of disapproval and laughter on his face. "Anyway, when we woke up he was so excited to open the presents from under the tree. Like usual, the presents were crap, but that tree somehow made Sammy as happy as he possibly could ever be."

"Yeah yeah Dean.." Sam mumbled, blushing dark red.

"No, Sam, that's cute." You insist, trying to make the man feel better about the story told.

"Thank you. Can I tell a story about Dean now?" Sam asked, a smirk forming on his face. The smile on Dean's face instantly melted off, it turned into pure horror.

"Ohh yes!" You say, smiling wide.

"Wait, no no no no." Dean said, trying to get it to stop.

"Oh, I will." Sam teased. "So, when Dean was about thirteen and I was nine, he left to go to this girls house on Christmas. Out dad was out hunting, so he was too busy to really pay attention when Dean told him. Well, anyway, Dean went to that girls house. One thing he neglected to tell everyone is that girl was about sixteen years old. She and her older sister had thrown a huge party. Lots of alcohol. Dean got so drunk that when he got him, he passed out and squished my special Christmas meal. I got so mad I dragged him outside in nothing but underwear and socks and tied him to a flag pole. I placed his head by the pole so if he opened his mouth, his tongue might touch the pole. Of course it did. So, that is my story about Dean. We're even now."

Dean looked at the ground and continued to pick up ornaments and put them on the tree. You were laughing at the mental image of a thirteen when year old tied to a flag pole. Sam was laughing a bit too, probably because he got back at Dean.

Dean grabbed something out of a box and pushed you onto a couch. He sat down next to you and held whatever it was over your heads. Mistletoe. Dean pulled you into a long kiss, lasting for a few minutes. When you and Dean moved apart, Dean looked at Sam. "Dean 1, Sam 0"

Sam rolled his eyes and finished decorating his side of the tree. This Christmas had turned out different for them, it was better.
