Chapter fifteen

Beca and Allie had been hurrying to finish Beca's first album which meant being at the studio till one or two in the morning. It was almost one am and Allie and Beca had been at the studio since one pm the day before.
"Bec lets be done for the night." Allie said taking a drink of her sixth cup of coffee.
"No Allie we can't the album comes out in two days and we need to be prepared for the release."
"Isn't Chloe worrying about the amount of sleep your missing?"
"Of course she is but I can sleep after the album's released."
"Beca look at yourself you're literally going crazy. It's almost two am I'm taking you home." Allie said shutting Beca's laptop.
"What did you do that for?" Beca snapped at Allie.
"Pack up your stuff. You're going home for the night." Allie said grabbing her keys and taking Beca's laptop bag. Beca followed Allie out of the studio reluctantly. Allie was right Chloe was worried about Beca's lack of sleep over the past couple of days. Allie drove Beca home and made sure she got inside. Chloe had fallen asleep on the couch once again waiting for Beca. Beca didn't wake Chloe but just went down the hall to their room.

Chloe woke up around seven and went down the hall to her and Beca's room and saw Beca asleep in the bed. Chloe would normally wake Beca up but decided to let her sleep. Chloe went back down the hall and went into the kitchen to make breakfast. Beca woke up about three hours later and wandered down the hall to the kitchen. Beca walked into the kitchen and Chloe was setting the table for breakfast. Chloe noticed Beca and stopped setting the table and went over to the brunette.
"Morning darling." Chloe said giving Beca a cup of coffee.
"Hey red." Beca said giving Chloe a kiss on the cheek.
"What time did you get home last night?" Chloe asked as she finished setting the table.
"Around 2 I think. Allie brought me home."
"What time do you think you'll be home tonight?" Chloe asked as she put a plate of pancakes on the table.
"I don't know but I'm leaving at about 3 to head over to the studio."
"I'll bring you dinner tonight." Chloe said.
Beca and chloe ate breakfast then Chloe had to leave for an audition. Beca sat down on the couch completely exhausted from the night before. DJ jumped up on the couch and laid down next to Beca which Beca found weird because the little devil despised her much as she despised it. Beca turned on the tv and as always there was nothing on. Beca decided she should go get some food since her and Allie we're going to have a late night at the studio again. Beca reached for her keys but then remembered Allie had brought her home last night so her keys were still at the studio. Beca grabbed her phone and dialed Allie's number. The line rang a couple of times before Allie answered.
"Allie smith."
"Hey al it's Beca."
"Hey bec. Why are you already awake?"
"Because I can be. Are you going to take me studio today?"
"Where's your car?"
"At the studio along with my keys because you brought me home last night."
"Why can't Chloe take you?"
"Because she had an audition to go to. So can you take me or not?"
"Yeah I can take you. What time do you want to go in?"
"Let's go in about three and Chlo said she can bring dinner for tonight."
"Okay awesome! See you at three."

"I'm going to go make some coffee. Do you want anything bec?" Allie asked getting up from the floor.
"Coffee. Three creamers and no sugar."
"Okay will do." Allie said walking out of Beca's office.
Beca was extremely stressed and just wanted to be at home with Chloe but she had to get ready for her album release. Allie came back with coffee and Chloe in tow.
"Look who I found." Allie said walking back into Beca's office.
Beca looked up from her laptop and Chloe was standing there with a bag of Taco Bell.
"Hey red." Beca said from where she sat on the floor.
"She's slowly going insane." Allie said taking a gulp of coffee.
"Bec stop working for five minutes and eat something." Chloe said looking down at the DJ.
Beca reluctantly shut her laptop and took the Taco Bell bag from the red head. Beca scarfed down her dinner then went right back to work.
"She hasn't stopped working since we got here and that was almost six hours ago." Allie said shutting her laptop.
The red head was still at the office with Beca and Allie mostly keeping an eye on Beca to make sure she wasn't her driving herself insane. The DJ was still on the floor with her headphones on clearly starting to work on mixes for her release party the next day.
"Chlo I think you need to take her home. I'll finish up here." Allie said.
"Okay." Chloe said.
Chloe got up from the couch and went over and sat down next to Beca on the floor. Beca removed her headphones and looked at the red head who had wandered over to her.
"Bec it's time to go home."
"I just need one more hour then we can leave."
"No. We need to go home. You're practically driving your self insane."
"Thirty more minutes." Said Beca turning her attention back to her laptop.
"No now." Said the red head leaning over and taking Beca's laptop.
"What the hell Chloe!" Beca said trying to get her laptop back from the red head.
"You can't have your laptop till after your release party tomorrow." Chloe said and with that she got up and grabbed Beca's stuff and walked out of the studio.
Beca stared at allie in disbelief .
"So you're just going to let this happen?"
"Yeah because you need to go home and get some sleep."
"Are you going to be okay here?"
"Yeah I'll be fine. Go home and get some good sleep. I'll see you tomorrow."
