The First Girl (Minho x reader)

Missed the chance

The doctors had greed suits with WICKED across the front. Rat man called off a few names, but you only recognized Aris.
"If I didn't call your name follow me they walked further down the hallway and he called Frypan and Newt
"I'm going to let them do it, I want to remember"
"Are you crazy?" Minho asked
"Let him make his decision" you said, understanding why he wanted to remember
You hugged Frypan and whispered "be carful" to him
"I will girly, promise"
You continued down the hallway until they called your names, and three girls from group B
"I'll pass, thanks for the offer though!" You said happily and Minho shook his head and smiled
"You ok there mister Rat Man?" Minho asked
"My name is Assistant Director Janson. Show a little respect"
"Respect? Stop treating us like animals and we'll think about it. Anyway the only thing we know is that your a douchebag and you look rather like a rat" you said smirking slightly.
'Janson' held the bridge of his nose and sighed
"How did you handle her in the maze?" Thomas whispered to Minho and Newt.
"Well... Let's just say it was difficult." Minho smirked at you
"She's a sweet girl if you don't make her mad" Newt told him
They walked into the room and exchanged a glance. There chance was coming and they all knew it. Across the room, in the green outfit, was Brenda. She sprinted across the room and hugged Thomas. It looked like she was telling him something but Rat man shouted at her to get back to her position.
"I thought she was a crank?" Teresa said "I don't like her, she seems... Devious"
"Your one to talk" you said
"Look you bi-"
"Ok ok, look we both know you don't like each other-" Thomas started
"And we all know that your not going to be coming out if that fight in one piece, so chill" Minho said to Teresa and you smiled
"Excuse me!-"
"Go let them play with your brain" Thomas interrupted her and she stepped away waiting for rat mans instruction.
The four of you stood back and watched.
"You have got to keep that temper under control" Minho said
"Says the one who used to pick fights with Gally whenever he could" you mumbled
"Yes but-"
"Oh admit it, you would love to see me take that chick down." You smiled when he thought about it
"Yes it would be extremely hot but still, not now" he said smiling
"I don't know, they seem pretty even" Thomas said and Newt and Minho just laughed
"What?"
"Dude she took down Gally at her bonfire" Minho said
"She did?!"
"Shuck yah, it was pretty sweet to"
"Yah right, I bet you were looking at my butt the whole time" when Minho stayed quiet you slapped his arm and gasped "you were weren't you!" They just laughed and you rolled your eyes
"I mean, not that I'm that surprised, bit your a small girl. Hight and weight" Thomas said
"Ohh boy" Newt mumbled under his breath
"Wanna fight tommy-boy?" You asked smiling, getting into a fighting stance
"You know, maybe another time" he said shying away
"Chicken" Minho whispered

"You four rebels are being watched, don't try anything. Armed guards are being sent as we speak" Rat man said
"Aw you hear that. He called us rebels" you sad and he rolled his eyes
"Your going to get yourself into trouble with that mouth" Minho warned you.
"At least my ego didn't almost get my friends killed and my fingers chopped off" you retorted
"Touché"
Three men and two woman burst into the room with the strangest weapons you'd ever seen.
"We waited to bloody long" Newt snapped
"They would have caught us, be patient" you said
"These are called launchers" Rat man pointed to the guns they were carrying "they won't kill you but they will give you the most uncomfortable five minuets of your life"
They escorted you down a long hallway, one of the men grabbing your arm rather harshly
"Ow you son of a bitch that hurts" you mumbled trying to break free
"Listen here, I'm not afraid to use this just cause your a girl" he said
"don't you fucking lay one hand on her" Minho said loudly
They pushed you all into a room with two bunk beds and a kitchenette with tables and chairs.
"we'll have some food brought to you" she shut the door and instantly Thomas started pounding on it.
"No ones going to come bloody tuck you in" Newt said from next to you
"With the people around here I wouldn't want them too, I swear my arms going to be bruised tomorrow" you said looking at your arm
"That basterd had his hands all over you" Minho growled and you kissed his cheek
You looked in the kitchenette for something to eat while the boys talked.

"You seem really protective of her" Thomas said lowly
"Maybe a little" Minho admitted "but she can take care of herself"
"Please, you wouldn't let hardly anyone near her in the glade" Newt said
"Well..." He gave up and started talking about something else because he knew it was true

You found cheese sticks, grapes, and some juice and walked back to the guys to find a pouting Newt.
"Hey, stop pouting." You threw his cheese stick at him and divided the rest up. When the food came, pork chops and potatoes, they ate quietly.
"Maybe we should give in to those shuck faces. Do what they want. Be fat and happy one day" Minho said you knew he didn't mean one word
"Yah, you and (y/n) can settle down, get married and have kids. Just in time for the world to end" Thomas went on
You imagined what it would be like to actually be able to settle down, it sounded pretty nice
"WICKED will find a cure and we'll all live happily ever after" Minho finished
"And maybe a flying unicorn will come down from the sky and save us" you say causing them to laugh.
"Tomorrow were going to get out of here" Thomas said
"Then we better quit yapping and get some buggin sleep" Newt said
"Good idea" you climbed onto the bottom of one of the bunks, and Minho crawled in after you.
"You know the top bunk on that beds available too" Newt said from the top of the other bunk
"Yup"
"Don't do anything inappropriate with us in the room" Thomas said, turning if the lights and climbing into his bed
"Slim it" you said, getting under the covers and snuggling into Minhos chest.
He kissed your forehead and wrapped his arms around you as you drifted to sleep

In this dream you were in a hall way with Minho standing next to you.
"I'm going to be fine" he said
"Fine! You won't remember me, or anything!" You shouted "I don't want you to go"
"I don't want to go ether but you know I don't have a choice" he said quietly, placing his forehead to yours.
"I love you" you whispered. It was the first time you had said it to him.
"I love you too" he leaned in and kissed you.
When you separated you cried into his shirt, and he just held you there, not letting go.
"I'll see you again and I'll remember you. I promise"

You woke up with a start to see that Minho was awake too
"Did you..." You asked quietly so you don't wake the others
"See before they sent me up? Yes" he suddenly leaned in closer and kissed you slowly.
"I made you a promise. I guess I didn't let you down" you smiled and cuddled closer to him.
"I love you" he said
"I love you too" you drifted into a dreamless sleep, safe in his arms.
