Puppy! ~ Ashley Purdy (Black Veil Brides)

You were at the mall with your boyfriend Ashley - as of today, you had been together for two years. He had taken you to watch a movie, eat, deplete hot topic, and now you were about to leave the mall.

"Hey, look!" he enthusiastically pulled you over to see a black kitten in a pet shop window.

"Awww he's so cute." you poked your finger through the cage and pet its head.

"Bunnies!" he walked over to the middle of the store looking at the adorable little fur balls.

"That one looks like a cow." you joined Ashley and pointed at a chubby white rabbit with black splatters.

"Puppies!" he turned to the end of the store where there were five pups in a pen.

"You're gonna make me dizzy, Ash." you giggled at his constant drift of attention.

"Aww, that one is so adorable," the runt of the litter caught your attention. "He looks so lonely..."

You reached over to pet the small black pup, but couldn't reach. To your surprise he came closer so you could touch him and he looked up at you lovingly while you scratched behind his ear.

"I think he likes you." Ashley said cutely, petting him too.

"Yeah, he's so sweet," you sighed. "Wish I could take him, but my apartment doesn't allow dogs."

"Yeah... it's ok, I'm sure he'll find a good home soon." Ash patted the doggy goodbye and wrapped his arm around you as you guys left.

~ next day ~

Knock knock knock

You shot your eyes open and darted up, rubbing your eyes and looking at the clock to see it was 7am. Who the hell...? You thought to yourself, getting up and opening your door.

"Hey, beautiful!" Ashley greeted you with a big smile, holding a box, and walked in, giving you a kiss on the forehead.

"Hey... what are you doing here so early?" you yawned.

"I brought you something!" he put the box down and came over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing you.

"At 7am? Is it breakfast?" you said half jokingly.

"No, but we can get that in a minute," he walked over to the box again, pausing for a few seconds before opening it. "Surprise!"

The puppy from yesterday hopped out, running up to lick you.

"Aww!!!" you picked him up, and kissed his nose. "But how am I gonna keep him, Ash? You know they don't allow pets here..."

"Simple. Just don't live here." he gave you that sly smile of his.

"Very easy for you to say. Where am I supposed to go?"

"You know, you two can always move in with me." he smiled, walking over to pet the doggy that was still in your arms.

You smiled, almost giggling, "You sly fox, you had this all planned out didn't you?"

"Well, Yeeeeees and no. I thought of it when we went to the pet store."

You rolled your eyes.

"So, is that a yes?"

"Of course it's a yes. I mean, I'm not gonna part with this little puppy now, now am I?" you answered playfully.

"Whatever." he smirked and kissed you.
