Chapter 3 // From fighting to flying
"Alpha Xavier, what a pleasant surprise. It's an honour to finally meet you."
"How do you know who he is if you've never met him before?" Jake asked, a puzzled expression on his face.
"Just because we haven't met doesn't mean that I've never seen him." Will said mysteriously before winking.
"I came to meet your leader." Xavier stated, looking around the room for the only woman, who was apparently their Alpha.
"Uh, she's not here at the moment but I'm sure she'll be back in a few minutes. If you'd like to wait then we can-"
Xavier cut Ben's sentence off with a single shake of his head. "No. I'll leave you with these papers for her to sign. Be sure to bring them with you tonight. Failure to hand them in will mean that you won't be able to compete."
With those words, he gave Tom a Manila envelope and abruptly left, leaving the guys confused.

Natalie
"Hey! Wait!" I rushed desparately towards the elevator and looked pleadingly at the tall guy inside it. His eyes pierced mine and the elevator doors closed shut just as I put out my hand to stop them.
"Damn jerk." I muttered as I kicked the wall in frustration. I guess it's the stairs for me then.

"Hey guys." I walked into the hotel room, towel in hand as I wiped the sweat off my face. They all looked up, puzzeled expressions on their faces. The only person not shocked, he was smirking actually, was Will.
"What's going on?" I asked slowly, looking at them suspiciously as I dropped my now dirty towel onto the table.
"Ask know-it-all over there." Ben scowled, nodding at Will before proceeding to storm out of the room.
"What's his problem?" I asked in confusion.
"Oh you know Ben. His curiosity just turns into annoyance when he doesn't find out what he wants." Jake remarked in a factual tone. I rolled my eyes.
"He's like a girl on PMS when he doesn't get to know what he wants to know." Zack added, smirking as he nodded at the door where Ben was undoubtedly on the other side, eavesdropping.
"He keeps acting like that and he will be a lass, alright." Tom said in his Scottish accent disapprovingly.
"Well if he'd waited a little bit longer, he'd be able to find out how I know him." Will suddenly put in, still grinning.
"Yeah, about that. How do you know him?" Adrian asked inquiringly.
Nearly dying of curiosity, I asked, "Who's him?"
Jake looked at me, "Hey Nat, you might have passed him as you were coming back."
"Oh yeah," Adrian stared at me, eyes gleaming, "He only left around ten minutes ago so you could've passed him."
