"Mom, I just wish I could go with you both to see mother." I tell mom, giving her a tight hug. I really did wish that I could go see my Grandmother, whom I called mother, a time in my life when Dad wasnt with us Grandma and Mom took care of me, since I was too little to pronounce Grandmother properly, I just stuck to Mother. She lives in New Zealand with my Uncle Shehry. The last time I saw her was four years ago. Too damn long. I missed her terribly, but once I went to New Zealand I would miss my Ireland and our happy home and old architecture.

She is really unwell and in a coma, Uncle Shehry didnt tell us much aside from the fact that she had been feeling unwell for a while now and one day she collapsed in the bathroom, so both Dad and Mom are going to New Zealand. Me and Hussain insisted, cried and threw tantrums, Dad almost let us come when I stared crying but Mom was adamant that I focus on my last year of high school, she looked too worried and I didn't have the heart to fight with her. I could tell Mom and Dad felt guilty about not taking us, they stocked up the kitchen pantry and the basement pantry, the fridge was full of food in ten minute things and dad had given Hussain and I both credit cards aside from the cash he pulled out. I started to protest that it was all too much but just pulled me and Hussain against his chest and said;
"I couldn't live with myself if both of you were even in a second of pain and uncomfort" and he just held us tight.
Our dad is the most loving father I have ever seen, even my friends are jealous. He was firm yet incredibly kind and gentle. I remember when I was little he would take me out on 'dates'. Mom got me ready in my princesd costume that I loved so much whereas Dad took a shower and wore his tux and cologne just like he would when him and Mom had date night. He would set the table with candles and finger food, would feed me, talk to me constantly calling me his princess and little darling.

Even though my childish chatter for the most part was senseless he really listened, answered and asked questions. He would also share his problems and things with me, after that he would put on some music and dance with me. The result was that he was my first love, I love dad to bits, he was my bestfriend, my guardian and my love and I guess that is the most important thing.

I dropped Mom and Dad off at the airport, me and Hussain stayed until the plane took off and was out of sight. I then took him to a small ice-cream parlour because he was awfully quiet.

"You know Mom and Dad will be back soon right?"

He looked down and didnt reply

I tapped the table

"Hussain?"

"But what if something happens to them? What if the plane crashes?" He whispered with fear.

I inhaled. It was also something that I had thought of but I couldnt scare Hussain now.

"No Hussain, Inshallah nothing will happen. And you have me forever your crazy monkey sister."

"I dont think your crazy" he said silently.

"Ehh what? Haha never gonna let you hear the end of this again."

He looked up and looked slightly more normal as he realized his mistake.

"I take it back, your a crazy crazy monkey, like Uncle Danish"

We both cracked up, uncle Danish had tried to escape prison by jumping onto a tree, when he jumped he smack his head on the trunk and had to call out to the police himself to come and get him.

Mom and Dad had safely reached New Zealand, Hussain was at basketball sleepover and I was pacing fractically in my room because Hunter just told me that he hadnt even started his part of our history project. I had screamed at him through the phone and he relented, saying that he was going to pick up some supplies and be right over. Meanwhile I furiously checked through my History textbooks and typed some bullet points for the lazy beast.
