HYUNSEUNG POV

"Good Night Hyuna..." I whispered softly as I turned off the lights and quietly went outside.

I sat by the beach and I was just staring at the sea....

"How did Hyuna and I become friends again?" I muttered under my breath as I felt the feeling of drunkness kicking in...

I rubbed my head for comfort as I looked over the sea again.

*My head hurts*

Flashback**

I was heading to the locker room when I saw Hyuna stomping out of Mr. Fukossaki's room.

*Must've failed her*

she was walking when she nearly tripped. I chuckled to myself but it seems she saw me and just rolled her eyes. suddenly, she collided with a man. I looked at the man and saw that it was Yong Junhyung. he was one of my batchmates back when we were in highschool. and he was also one of the boys teasing me about Hyuna.

I saw Hyuna get angry with Junhyung

*that's what you get*

he extended his hand but she ignored it so instead he assissted her by her waist. suddenly I saw her blush and as she was walking away Junhyung caught her hand.

I read her lips and she said: "Hyuna. Kim Hyuna."

* he must've asked her name*

it was VERY ridiculous for me to see Hyuna blush for the first time. 

I started to make my way to my next class when Junhyung suddenly caught up with me.

"yah, I just saw Kim Hyuna from highschool. she CHANGED!" he said as if surprised.

"yeah. is it just your first time seeing her again this college?" I asked him.

"yes. and he got CUTER too." he said.

I felt like I was angry with him.but I really don't understand why...

"dude wait for me I'll just ask Mr. Fukosaki who will be my study partner.." he said as he went inside Mr. Fukosaki's room...

when he got out he was smiling even wider.

"so? who's your study partner?" I asked curiously

"H-hyuna..." he said while staring at nothingness.

"well....bye now. I'll be going..." I said as if disappointed and walked away.

I wanted to punch myself because I couldn't understand what I was feeling...

I was suddenly stoped walking as I remembered something that Junhyung said.

"she got CUTER?!" I said out loud.

At lunch, I sat near Hyuna's table, still not knowing why I did that. I was reading my book when Eunji suddenly sat beside me.

"Hyunseung, have you eaten? I prepared lunch just for you!" she said as she put down a lunchbox infront of me.

"how about you? have you eaten?" I asked her back

"um...No so LET'S EAT TOGETHER!" she said as she picked up a chopstick.

"sorry no. Im not hungry anyways. just eat it yourself. I would appreciate it more." I said to her.

she pouted and stormed out of my table.

when I looked at Hyuna I saw Junhyung sit infront of her and they were talking. I felt my fist clench. not feeling like eating or being there at all. I left the scene very upset.

when classes were over I saw Junhyung carry Hyuna's books and leaving Hyuna behind him.

I began to feel very uneasy so I went straight to my house.

the next day as usual I got into class but as I was walking I saw Junhyung walking with hyuna.they were so close with each other. then Junhyung handed Hyuna a notebook.

*pffft. forget about her. She's not EVEN YOUR FRIEND FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!*

I ran to my next class. I tried to concentrate with the lesson but I just couldn't. I scolded myself and buried my face in my book.

I walked through the park trying to catch air...

then Eunji approached me again as usual.

"Hyunseung...you look very cute today...." she said as she tried very hard to look cute.

"uh....thanks...you too...." I said as I walked away rom her but I felt her still following me.

*this girl is really creepy...*

I continue to live my life but  for these past days Hyuna and Junhyung were getting really close. then suddenly one day he approached me with a nervous face.

"Hyunseung, I gotta ask you something." he asked me

"what is it?" I aksed but I was expecting what he was gonna say.

"I think I have to confess to Hyuna... Should I do it?" he asked forcing not to smile.

*I was right*

"S-sure...if that's what you feel. but PLEASE don't make her fall if you're not there to catch her. don't make her cry if you're not there to comfort her..." I forced a smile.

"thanks man...." he said as he shook my hand and walked away.

I shook my head and went towards the park to soothe myself.

suddenly I bumped into a girl and she fell down.I realized that the girl was Hyuna.

*crap I'm dead.*

I closed my eyes and started to say my prayers and extended my hand and she stood up.

"Thank you!" she said with a SMILE.

*D-did she just SMILE?!*

I put my hand on her forehead.

"are you sick? you're not punishing or shouting at me or anything !" he said as we both sat down.

"no. I'm sure I'm okay..." she chuckled

"you want something to drink?" she asked me.

I nodded and she bought out a can and handed it to me.

"this has no poison in it RIGHT?" i asked as I opened the can

"of course not!" she said

"do you know who I am?" I suddenly asked her.

she nodded.

"Of course you are Jang Hyunseung" she said happily

then the bell rang and we both went our
