Because Rook Soo being Alberu cousin and meeting Cale in a party when they are kids, then jour dies and Deruth neglect Cale but Rook Soo makes him company then Deruth get married and Rook Soo invites Cale to his house to calm himself but Cale end up living more there than in his house to the point the servants treats him like the duchess
