Hi everyone! This is Ponytailedclaire!(but my real name is not claire, I don't even know how I came up with this name.)

I like historical fiction very much, but the REALISTIC ONES. Which means, anything the characters do, will receive the actual consequences that will befall them, depending on the eras they live in. Fabricated stories(which means, none of the events actually took place in history) are good too, as long as they are realistic. 

I personally like Ancient Chinese dramas/movies! There are so many to watch, that I haven't been able to watch all. Some that I have watched are 'Scarlet Heart'(Bu Bu Jin Xin), 'Empress of China'(Wu Mei Niang Chuan Qi), 'Legend of Zhen Huan'(Hou Gong Zhen Huan Zhuan), 'White Vengeance'(Hong Men Yan), 'Lady of the Dynasty'(Yang Gui Fei), and Qin Shi Huang Fei(many more but I really can't remember them now).

There are also some unfinished ones... Like Feng Sheng Bang, Yang Gui Fei(the one in which Antony Wong starred). 

Not to trash-talk, but after having watched Scarlet Heart first, Jade Palace Lock Heart(VERY SIMILAR TO SCARLET HEART) becomes much less interesting to me. It is less realistic, and I prefer a serious drama. But of course, many still like JPLH over SH.

'Gong' is also another good movie taking place in the same period as SH and JPLH. Yes, this is also amazing.

I watch dramas/movies from other eras too, such as The Crossing and Dangerous Liaison(released 2012). OH! Please watch 'The Myth' TOO! Starring Jackie Chan(YES JACKIE CHAN THE LEGEND) and Kim Hee-Sun. I have been listening to its OST, 'Endless Love', endlessly. Pun intended.
