My name's Nick, 28yo, brand new aspiring fiction writer. Used my time recovering from laser eye surgery, unable to use my eyes for anything, to listen to audiobooks. Consuming them for four straight days laid up in bed, I realised "hey, that's what I wanna do! I miss that!".
So here I am, completing a creative writing course at the fabulous Australian Writer's Centre, and writing my very first book. A "romance gone wrong" about a young displaced cosmopolitan guy and a handsome jackaroo, and what each of us will tolerate in the name of loneliness and companionship.
