I have the randonmist question/request, for you and fellow readers of your work. But I would be interested in some movie series recommendations that resemble your books. Historical romance, England, 1800s, aristocrats, dukes and duchess and etc, you get the point. This is a fairly new interest of mine. I did watch Bridgeton some time ago, I'm on the fence whether I enjoyed that show. I enjoyed some areas but then not others, but nonetheless, could anyone recommend shows similar? I ask here because I seen that you said you watch series or read books similar to what you write, and I'd be interested to watch them too. I hope me asking this on your board is not rude of me!

@littleLo Would you describe Poldark as more of a serious/dramatic series? I couldn’t tell from my brief investigation but need to plan out when to watch more serious/heavy stuff for less busy days/weeks so I don’t get mentally overwhelmed lol.

@xCaptainCl3mentinex Ah, my fave genre. My favourite movie of all time is the 2005 Pride & Prejudice. Others: The Young Victoria, Victoria (TV series), Lorna Doone (2001), Far from the Madding Crowd, Doctor Thorne (TV series), Emma (2009 TV series and 2020 movie), Belle, Poldark (TV series), another honourable mention is another favourite of mine - Ever After. Happy watching. Any of these are set in the era or carry the same sort or romance as my books :)

Does anyone have any book recommendations on books like Laura's? I need to read something else until ASA gets updated but Laura's writing is so good that my standards have gone UP⬆️ So I have a hard time finding books I actually enjoy so some good recommendations would be really nice

@littleLouisaa I feel the same way, Laura’s books are amazing. @littleLouisaa you could try The Howerty Series by EmilyMorgans, because it has several of the same themes as Laura’s books but that series is a little bit more mature and explicit. I haven’t found a good clean series like Laura’s.

@littleLo It was a wonderful series, and I'm glad I found it, although I'm sad it ended, I'm reading A Solemn Promise, now. I never was a romance reader, but I guess I am now, lol.
