Hi, a quick warning - for technical reasons I unpublished my Avebury Witches novels until further notice, since I need to clarify something with my publisher. I had permission to keep these first drafts on Wattpad at the time, but I need to ensure this is still the case. Thanks for your understanding!

@lhansenauthor Things are going quite well. I have 8 novels published all on Amazon.com In December, I published all of them in paperback format (print on demand) and in January took advantage of publishing audiobooks on Audible.com (which is of course now owned by Amazon) using a Virtual Reader (robot). In the last 90 days I have sold 500 books and 60,000 pages borrowed by Kindle and Audible subscribers ( I get US$ 0.45/100 pages).

@WillFlyForFood Thank you very much, that's definitely something I could do!!! How is it going with the publishing?

@lhansenauthor I have used the 10% rule. I keep the first few chapters, up to 10% up on wattpad as part of my marketing campaign. I do make sure that the watty chapters of my published books are NOT the final versions. Don't know if this helps. Cheers. J

Hi and a happy, peaceful New Year to all of you. May it be better than the one before, but then I always say that. I hope to be publishing TWO novels this year on Amazon, "Out of Body", the third instalment in the Magical Mystery series and "Spirits of Gascony", a paranormal Romcom. I'll let you know when we get closer. In the meantime, there are still plenty of great stories to be found on Wattpad. I recently found @JimHeter's marvellous and thoughtful SciFi and Magic mashups (is that even the right moniker? Probably not). I read "Eye of the Beholder" and I can really recommend it. https://www.wattpad.com/653978582-eye-of-the-beholder-prologue. But there's plenty more where this came from. Enjoy and all the best to you.

You asked for links. You might start here:
          https://www.wattpad.com/1172260164-sequels-and-other-works-sequels-to-and-we-will
And We Will Have Snow is sort of my Magnum Opus, dealing with what to do with a world caught up in climate change.
But to get to where our story lines are similar, you could start with the first sequel, here:
          https://www.wattpad.com/653978582-eye-of-the-beholder-prologue
Again, you may want to skip the prologue if it looks too tedious.
Then, if you really want to cut to the chase, to see where our story lines converge, skip all the way to Part 3, here:
          https://www.wattpad.com/701982558-eye-of-the-beholder-chapter-3-5-annunaki
After that (or before) if you want to start where it all begins, that would be here:
          https://www.wattpad.com/story/300393133-the-lamia
          and here:
          https://www.wattpad.com/1197559924-the-stag-horned-man-part-1-double-vision
          I hope that actually helps. : )

Hey, long time, no post. But now the "Writer's Relay" has started posting "Lost Crade", a Science Fiction collaboration of twenty Wattpad authors, and I'd like you to be aware of this exciting project! Chapters One by @Nytherides and Chapter Two by @Jinnis are up!

Mine will have to wait a bit longer. It's the last of the story...
Enjoy reading a fantastic and suspenseful chase across the galaxy for the lost cradle of humanity.

Amazon just notified me that "Down the Hatch." was just published. Congrats! (I bought a Kindle copy for my mom, she loved the first one. I'll make sure that she leaves a nice review...)
You can fill me in later as to what took so long to get your editor/publisher and the like to get the second book out. Cheers, JC

@WillFlyForFood Aw, thanks for doing that!!!! Yep, took absolute ages. My editor is running the editing team, and simply had too much on her hands. I hope they'll take number three and it'll go a bit quicker. The publisher I found for my romance is definitely a lot faster. I fear the edit request will land in my inbox any moment. That one will be e-book first. Once I have the copies, I'll send your mom a freebie!

Want to win a Watty? Or at least the ONC? Feel baffled by editing? Relax, help is on its way. @theidiotmachine is writing a great guide for line editors that tells you absolutely everything you need to know. And it's actually a fun read.
