Hello lovely readers, long time no update!
I'm so sorry for the extended hiatus I've been on. I've been juggling a lot of different things at the moment, many of which I'm very excited to tell you about.
First thing's first, I'm getting published!!! My witchy MM romantasy, A SPELL FOR HEARTSICKNESS, will be releasing October 15th 2024! It follows the story of Briar Wyngrave, an enchanted fashion designer suffering from a curse that's draining his magic, when a prophecy sends him to a rural town to meet the man who could cure him. But it's a bit hard to have a date with destiny when you aren't sure which man that date is with—the handsome alderman with a curse of his own, or the famous healer with an unreadable aura.
I'll post more updates to reveal the cover, preorder dates etc, but this is one of two big reasons I've been so busy. The other is that I've (finally!!) gotten top surgery and HRT. I'm so happy to finally be feeling more like myself.
Which brings me to the last bit of news, which is the final instalments of Neon Rush! I'm so sorry it's been on hiatus this long. Truthfully, NR is one of those stories that was deeply personal and difficult to write sometimes given the delays and hurdles I was going through with my own transition.
My plan, my crazy plan, is to spend this year drafting. I have to write a sequel to A Spell For Heartsickness, the ending of Neon Rush, and the rewrite of Wolf Teeth, which has been using my brain like a chew toy for the past year. All of these are at some state of progress, but my plan is to have them all done and dusted by the end of the year. I know that sounds a long way away, but time is really flying, and I've been managing a pretty steady writing pace after the much-needed break!
In the meantime, thank you all so much for reading my queer books and for supporting and leaving your comments as time goes on. I can't wait to share more of my characters and worlds with you! Much love :)
