Hey, I'm Amal, I'm 19, and I'm an amateur writer...well ok I write. At least I TRY to write.
 I've kind of been doing it since I was 11 or 12 but back then I had the free time but not the brain power, and now I have the brain power but not the free time so it's not like that really even matters HA. 

I mostly write history stuff, and sometimes fanfictions. Common themes in my stories include extreme angst, mental illnesses, and basically pretty much everything under the sun that is the antithesis of happy stuff. 
I don't really have much time to write now because college and adulting are apparently a thing but I do like to read books and stalk historical figures I am interested in online using free trials of Ancestry.org. Oh and did I mention I like listening to music (ironically my favorite genre is Deutsche Neue Hart; if you don't know what that is, think 'Rammstein' or 'Eisbrecher'). 
I am also passively-aggressively learning Czech and German, and currently getting nowhere in either language but hey. It's the thought that counts right? 
My other pastimes are eating, sleeping, and ye. Just eating and sleeping. Oh and Discord. A lot of Discord. And falling down random meme-filled sinkholes in the Internet. Why, you ask? Because interacting with other humans is just not my cup of tea. Plus, unless it's a deserted nature preserve or a park at 8 in the morning, I hate being outside.

Yeah I think that's pretty much it.
