Insane is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result

But what if the results change, would it still make them insane or would it break them, break them because they're used to the same result and maybe not ready for a change, not ready for something different, something that their mind can not handle or comprehend. Maybe because they done the seen the same thing happen over and over again because they done the same thing over and over but were expecting a different result than suddenly, a new results forms from doing the same thing over and over.
