Btw, Muharram is one of the four sacred months so make sure to increase in worship. And if you can, strive to keep up with these changes even after the month ends.

Asalamu alikum sis could you support me by following me please. I want to gather the Muslim sister community on wattpad and maybe form a group. I tried doing this in the past but I had to leave. Now I am back because I realised, what’s a passion should not leave you. Your passion is everything as someone said. I’d appreciate if you could support me as I am looking for active sisters in shaa Allah. Hope Ramadan is going well sis x

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. How have you guys been faring? Especially with all this insecurity and drama in Nigeria. I just hope Nigeria gets better wallahi. But until then, keep your prayers and your morning and night azkars close to you. Like hold it tight!

Today is the start of a new Islamic year, Muharram. And while we don't celebrate it as a holiday, we can use it as a way to make new resolutions to work around.

Make use of the time you have now. Seek knowledge. Memorize more of the Quran. Learn more about your Prophet (SAW). Observe more of the sunnah.Just do more for yourself, for your iman.

It's not enough to have only the knowledge you were brought up with. You need to have your own. You need to stop procrastinating. What happens if you die tomorrow?

So please take this as a reminder to continue to strive in the way of your deen. And if this means you have to let go of a certain thing, then by all means do it.

If you're trying to stop listening to music, you have to put in effort. You're trying to wear the hijab (as it is mentioned in the Quran, and not the way people wear it these days), you have to play your part. You can't just expect change. You have to want it. You have to work towards it.

I'll end this here. I don't know if this made any sense because I wrote it very hastily but I hope my point has made. I'll be going on a hiatus and I'll be taking my book down as well. I don't know when it'll be back up but we'll see.

P.s, don't forget to check up on your friends and family.

          Assalamu alaikum.

The Prophet (SAW) said: "The best Dua is the Dua on the Day of Arafah. And the best Dua that I and the Prophets before me used is" :

          لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٍ.

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ala kulli shay in qadeer.

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Alone Who has no partners, to Him belongs Dominion and to Him belong all the Praises, and He has power over all things (i.e. Omnipotent).

May Allah Make it easy upon us and Forgive all our shortcomings. Ameen.
