I've been writing mostly romance, but I plan to explore more genres in the future, namely horror.
I have found that I enjoy writing character-driven narratives and I love to explore the relationships between my characters. When I write, I work with a very bare-bones outline and let my characters dictate where the story goes. It feels like my characters come to life and are exploring their friends, environment, and selves on their own! Sometimes they lead me where I expect and sometimes they make me angry because they chose the answer I didn't like.
