Hi, and thanks for adding Beyond the Green New Deal to your reading list.

I regret having stopped before Christmas season.

After the first three stories, all have at least gone through a complete draft.

I'm pleased you found my stories.

          It's nice to meet you.

@TerryP Hello, Terry! Yes, of course, I certainly found your story intriguing and will be interested in seeing where you take the tale in the Near Future.

The premise sounds engaging, especially the examination of the militant SJW left who are, in their own snobarolla and rabid manner, just as bad as the radical Alt Right.

            Best of luck with it!

Hi, Grafton. Thank you ever so much for the follow.

I'm so delighted that you have found my stories.

While most of my stories involve romance many involve SCi Fi in one form or another.

My stories set in all or part in Africa or Germany draw on my experience as a teacher in a Mission School in the remote jungle village of Bolahun, Liberia, or as a soldier during my years in Germany with the US Army.

So many of my characters will be based on real people, and my storyline will have a ring of realism.

          It's nice to meet you.

          Enjoy my stories.

@TerryP I didn't know about the Baruch Plan. That is fascinating!

If your history teachers hated America, they may not have told you of the Baruch Plan of June, 1946. As the only superpower with a then monopoly atomic weapons, the United States offered to destroy our atomic bombs and place ours and others' fissionable materials under control of the United Nations. Russia rejected the plan. Exploded their first atomic bomb in 1949.

Beginning in 1948, Russia blocked all land routes into Berlin where American, French , and Brits controlled parts of Berlin. The problem is that Berlin was well behind the post-war area occupied by Russian soldiers. They reasoned the West Berliners would starve, and the United States give in and turn Berlin over to complete Russian control.

Instead the United States began flying food and coal into West Berlin to feed and comfort the Germans. At its height planes were landing at Templehof Airport every 30 seconds, offloading quickly, and flying out again.

It's best portrayed in a movie called The Big Lift with Montgomery Clift and Paul Douglas. Others uniformed personnel were American service men. It shows how utterly destroyed Berlin still was when they made the movie there. By the time I saw it, it's rebuilt except for huge open areas with streets but no houses.

The movie and everything cited here is on Google or You Tube.
