Haiiii I wanted to tell everyone that I thank them lots lots lots for helping me out last time, I just managed to check everyone's replies and tbh they helped a lot so thank you uwu so now I got motivated a bit and re-published the first chapter of drama teacher etc etc but yis enjoY bc some things changed but some things stayed the same idek

Been thinking about just randomly leaving wattpad tbh. Like at this point I gotta force myself to write LMAO
And I know, I know that's bad and I shouldn't force myself to, but i've been inactive for so long and my books have gone so lonely that barely anyone's left to enjoy them. Yk, what drove me in the first place to write was the excitement regarding writing my own story and imagination, then putting it out for people to enjoy em and make them happy
But I have two options I'm thinking about rn
A) I take a little break from writing my current fanfictions, have a new start/reset and maybe get with interacting with a few people. It could motivate me to get attached to this place again and start writing out of enjoyment once more
Or
B) I quit.
LMAO AKSJAKSJDHAJSB I know that's a bit like— "bro what???" But I'm genuinely considering quitting completely, because I've been stuck on a massive writing block for two years and I've been lacking motivation. When I open an already started chapter and I have to continue it, I quickly tap out afterwards because I'm like "oh no, now I have to write this bit which takes a lot of explaining and effort and detail and I have to make it interesting too, otherwise people will just skip it."
It's not a nice feeling. I really wish I could get myself out of this sticky puddle but it's so hard and idk how to get my motivation back. Breaks don't work. Writing badly then detailing it doesn't work. Idk what else will work.
I know everyone will reply saying they understand and that they support every decision I make. And I appreciate that, I rlly bloody do, yk? But for once, this is more of a last cry for help cuz idk what else to do. I want to be able to keep writing, because I loved making stories, so I'd like to just ask, is there anything that anyone did to get out their writing blocks beforehand? Anything you've done that got you back to writing stories?

Suggestion: Repost all the chapters of "Drama Teacher" even if they arent finished edited before you leave, if you decide to. We'd all really appreciate it! <3

@TheJINius Whatever you decide to do, we will support you 100% writers block is awful, I have constantly sudden bursts of inspiration for like a week and then it's all gone again and I'm stuck in idk what to write for months on end. It's frustrating.

@TheJINius OK I 100% get it and also left for 2 years haha, tbh I've had to rebuild a new audience and work really hard to 'come back' so I get what you're saying, you're wondering is it worth it to work so hard when you may not enjoy it anymore. At the end of the day, writing is for you! I got out of my writers block by coming up with a completely new book and planning it all the way out. I was so excited to write it and finish my other ones that I sorta of powered through it but then ultimately found I was excited about writing again. There are a lot of days I don't feel like writing and gosh I 100% know what you mean about having to write between exciting bits, but honestly here's the thing from someone who also writes: writing is really hard and time consuming. If you aren't enjoying it, there's no point. And let's be real, are any of us going to be active on Wattpad for the rest of our lives? Probably not, so my suggestion is probably this. Maybe start thinking out what you want to do, but if you just can't find that inspiration no matter how hard you try to build yourself up, don't worry about it. It's completely fine to step back, no matter how long it is or even if it's forever. Time is precious so you might as well enjoy your life instead of forcing yourself to please others :) love ya forever doe fr no matter what you decide!!! <3
