Everything around you is normal, you're in your bedroom, in bed, almost asleep. You had a normal, average quarantine day, and were going to sleep at the usual time you always did. Nothing changed. But what happened next, was not normal. The soft creak of your door alerts you, wary eyes locked on the dim hallway light drifting in, a shadowy figure looming in the frame. Everything goes quiet, everything still, just this... figure, staring at you. It lurches forwards, digging it's fingers deep into your neck, violently shaking you and screeching incoherent words into your ear, eyes wide and staring directly at you with no remorse as you're strangled. Then, you wake up with a jolt, drenched in sweat. Phew, just a dream!

Until you hear the door slowly creak open. A figure standing in your door frame.

Then you know it's over.
