Today I have decided to go public with a story I've been holding near and dear to my heart for some time.
          
          While some of you may be aware of my journalism work, my love of writing actually began long ago when I started penning my own fiction stories as a child.
          
          Some of these stories have been sitting in my back pocket, but today I will begin posting my thriller Swipe of Fate for your reading pleasure.
          
          In many ways, it's a story of heartbreak. Or perhaps it's lost youth. If you ever wished to read a female version of Dexter, in all its twisted glory, this might be the story for you.
          
          I will be posting a new chapter each week, but I appreciate any and all feedback as I begin the exciting and yet frightening process of revealing my fiction to the world.
