Erm, I finally texted that old friend today, and it kind of went okay, I guess? They just said that they hope I'm doing good and that their mental health got better and that they blocked me
          
          I feel like I just got some kind of closure, so I'm just glad I got out how I felt during the friendship and how it ended and that they know how I felt about it
          

The urge to text a past friend and tell them why I stopped talking with them and how I felt is really tempting rn, but idk how they'll react, and that's what I'm scared of
          
          Do you all think I should just risk it? I wanna at least give them some clarification and also to give myself closure

Listen, I'm not one to get emotional or anything (Happy New Years btw), but I genuinely have no clue how I survived 2023, and this isn't just some 'haha turns out I made it' kinda shit
          
          I've attempted suicide 3 times in 2023 and had a very close call once last year, so i don't know how I keep surviving year after year but if I can do this than so can you guys
