I don't know how to best describe myself. These questions are always the most daunting :/

The only things I have liked constantly in my life are books, and I'm sure that will never change. The only time emotional up and downs are welcome are if they are in pages and characters that I grow to hate or love.

I love reading. My most favorite part about reading is the itch you get till you get to the middle part. You can't wait to know what is going to happen, but are also so scared that you will finish it too soon.

If I could wish for something and make it happen, I'd make myself forget all my favorite books so I can read them again.

My love to read has inevitably birthed itself into wanting to write. But I'm faced with the dilemma that I will write but I will never show it to anyone for fear of feeling so exposed. However, there's little point to any art if it's not shared. I have overcome this fear by starting to share here.

Why do I write? I love the power that comes with it. You can literally make anyone in your imagination do anything. I feel pretty selfish while writing. I will only do what pleases me, with little or no care what that means. I will make whoever I want evil, whoever I want good.

But the biggest reason I write is vanity. The fact that I put pen to paper and words were flowing to create something I read back and like, and perhaps, maybe invoke emotion. That is the best feeling of self-gratitude, and I won't be a sinner for that hubris.

Sadly, those times are few.

There are times what I write disappoints me to usually decide to never write again. Until another idea torments me to give in and write to exorcise it.
