Up Next on The Reader's Review:
          "Monster" by @IcyandOtherEmotions

I've read very few books that have taken dark turns such as the ones this author takes. The amazing thing is, I keep going back for more despite the hurt, anger and fear I feel after reading a chapter.

It was a bit of a challenge chosing which of their novels I would review. "Monster" spoke to me because of the in-depth character development that went into the two main characters.

It's a phenomenal read if you're interested in dark-theme content, mixed in with some heartfelt moments. It's definitely not for the faint-hearted, there is violence, there is death, and there is definite abuse.

I'm going to enjoy delivery this update for you. In the meantime, please check out "Monster" and many more novels by this amazing writer.

Hi.

          Quick Wattpad Fact:
This is was very first book I read on Wattpad. I cringe a little bit, but placate myself with the fact that I was a hopeless romantic teenager and the romance of it all appealed to it.

I still applaud how well written the book is, the charcterization is there and really tangible in a way.

However, growing up I got really tired of reading about these wonderful, angst-filled stories with a happy endings and yet never really seeing myself in the characters.

Finding Interracial/Multicultural as Urban Fiction stories opened up a whole new world for me.

Hello Hi!

Gosh, it's been a while. 2020 was a lot. Understatement of the decade, right but yes. A lot of changes, hurting, a lot of growth and a lot of writing. I absolutely loved and hated it.

To celebrate these achievements, I've published a review of one of my all-time favorite novel, from my all-time favorite writer. "Weapon 86" is a masterpiece that you won't even attempt to put down. I expect long nights reading one more chapter and coffee filled mornings.

It's such an honour for me to write these reviews, bringing attention to books that don't just afford us entertainment but also give commentary or awareness to serious issues that could be related to our world.

I hope learning a little about the novel and potentially reading it, can afford you in even more knowledgeable and sensitive view of the world.

          With love,
          Sharlotte

Hi there!
I hope you enjoyed the very first Reader's Review, J'Nique Williams' 'Call Me, Molly' was a dream to write about and I will be doing a second part of the review after the story has concluded.

I look forward to sharing more crazy theories and fully analyzing the story and characters, with abandon and not risk of spoiling it for everyone!

Until then, I will be moving along to yet another exceptional read!

'Weapon 86' takes us to another world, an apocalyptic world where the search begins for the most dangerous weapon in the world!

My excitement, for this particular story, stems from, not only how awesome the story is, but also because of how amazing the writer is and her strong conviction to her activism of representation of all shades of color within the superhero, fantasy and science fiction realm!

Gear up for the review next week Friday, and have a read of Smauggy's 'Weapon 86'!

@SharlotteMagwaUJ I'm so honored. You have no idea. We spoke about it already, but again, thank you for this opportunity. To have one of my readers, break down my story and analyze it means the world, because it reminds me of the days I was in school and looking at great works. To be part of your OWN literary work review is beautiful, especially when it's written by a brilliant mind who so happens to be my favorite reader because your comments, though they are positive, they help challenge me into becoming a better writer.

I can't wait to read the chapter as well as your own insight on other stories as well.

Hi there!

Earlier in the year I published a draft of my personal review book, where I intended to share my thoughts and interpretations of some of my favorites on Wattapd, titled The Reader's Review.

Unfortunately this happened concurrently with me competing my postgraduate degree and starting a new job. Time flew and I couldn't find the time to actually reread and actually lay down my thoughts.

That's all done and dusted now, I'm settled in the new job and I am ready to realize this dream of mine. I will post an update on the first review that I'll be doing soon!

Thank you again for your patience and the support I received starting this project

I can't wait to share it with you all!

          Love and Light
          Sharlotte ✨
