I love to create, whether it be with words, or on a loom. I also love art, in all its many forms, but especially in writing. 

To me, books are a work of art in and of themselves. I love the cover art, the way the paper feels, the way new books stain your fingers with ink, and the way old books smell. The only thing I don't love about them is having to wear glasses to read the tiny print, which is why I do a lot of my reading electronically now (since I can adjust the font size, I don't need my glasses). 


I love: Fantasy, Sci-fi, Mythology, History, Doctor Who, Firefly, and pretty much anything with a good plot, fun characters, and that isn't too scary.

I have a BA in philosophy and an MA in Classics. I'm currently a middle school teacher, and often adjunct at a local community college. I'm married to an amazing husband (he's a real, honest to goodness scientist!).
