I'm a writer of all stripes, but primarily science fiction on Wattpad. I love robots, aliens, and time travel, and exploring topics like gender, literacy, mental health, climate change, and social justice.

My inspirations: Ursula Le Guin (my old-time hero), Rebecca Stead and L.M. Montgomery (my new-time heroes), CS Lewis (his sci-fi), Gene Roddenberry, Edgar Allan Poe, Haruki Murakami, Robert Heinlein, Aaron Starmer, JRR Tolkien, Charles Dickens, Margaret Atwood, Phillip Dick, William Gibson, Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell and Michael Talbot.

The community and support on Wattpad is amazing! The friends I've made and the critiques I've received have been invaluable in shaping my career as a writer. I can't tell you how grateful I am -- it's here as a lonely writer that I felt safe to share my discovery drafts.

What is a discovery draft, you ask. Well, that's basically my first blah-it-on-the-page-until-it's-all-out draft. What this means for any hapless victims, er, I mean, random readers who stumble upon my stories is that... SURPRISE! It's a surprise to both of us because I have NO clue what I'm going to write in a discovery draft. I start with a character and what they want, and I discover the story from there.

So that brings me to an important point: PROCEED WITH CAUTION. Don't expect a ready-to-read novel on my profile. Expect dead-ends. Expect false starts. Expect gaping plot holes. Expect disappointing endings. And expect some crazy shizzle! And just remember, I warned you.

Over the years, I've read so many great stories on Wattpad, so PLEASE see my reading lists with all my favourites. -------------->>>>>>>
